15th Annual High Tea Charity Benefit Japanese Garden

Morning

The Annual High Tea Charity Benefit was an event founded by Misuzu that was dedicated to ensure that special children coming from low income families were provided topnotch mental healthcare close to their homes. Misuzu would have held this event for the summer in Australia on Christmas as she planned since the last one during Valentine's Day, but as she hadn't visited her birth country for a long time, she decided to hold it earlier during a Japanese summer she had always missed ever since her marriage to Artur.

It had been such a lovely time for the mothers and daughters who came in matching dresses and generous donations in accordance to the mother-daughter theme. But after a presentation and speech of a popular therapist, and a splendid party of cakes, sandwiches and tea, the event was over and fancy gift baskets were distributed.

"So, Atobe Keigo is going to be Kunimitsu's opponent." Juri said on her iPhone. She was talking to Coach Ryuzaki who was at the hospital right now with Kawamura after he had injured himself in his match against Hyotei's copy genius, Kabaji Munehiro.

"That's right." Coach Ryuzaki's voice came from the other line. "Can you make it? You must be pretty tired after taking your little brothers to church and participating in your mother's charity."

"No, I made a promise that I would be there. I gave my promise that I would come and cheer for Seigaku and you know I'm a woman of my word, Coach Ryuzaki."

"Of course you are. I guess that's one of the many things Tezuka likes about you."

Juri's face started to flush that she almost dropped her phone. "A-Anyways, I was hoping to see Echizen-kun play during the first round of the Regionals."

"He will play if Tezuka loses."

Juri shook her head. "There's no way Kunimitsu would lose, he is one of the top players in the middle school tennis world with a perfect record."

"That's true. Well, I better get going now and you better get in one of your limos to take you to Koto."

"Alright, bye."

When the call ended, Misuzu approached her daughter. "Juri is something wrong?" she asked.

"I had a great time, mother, but I have to go to Koto now." Juri replied.

"Well, the driver's warming up the car, so go change into something more casual for Seigaku's game, and when you get there, give my good luck to the team."

Juri smiled and hugged her mother. "I will."
