Morning

Inside her dark room, Juri knew that behind the heavy curtains blocking every entryway of light, the same sun that sent new green leaves bursting from blackened buds and turned the wands of grasses into gold was shining magnificently. And with the fiery heat of the summer dropping as autumn was fast approaching, it was the perfect day to train or go for a walk in the manor's gardens while reading a book, but she didn't felt like doing any of the two. She had imprisoned herself in the coldness and darkness of her room ever since the East-West Goodwill Games ended.

Hiding behind one of the opulent pillars of the living room's archways, though she couldn't see the international news report her parents were watching, she perfectly heard everything that it was about:

"Right after being apprehended by the Interpol in Japan, disgraced chairman and president of the Romanovros Global Company, Mikhail Romanovros and his wife Yesfir Romanovros were immediately deported back to the United States in less than twenty-four hours where they will stand on trial against all the accusations thrown at them, starting with their shady black market dealings, involving the smuggling of Botswanan and Canadian diamonds that has been going on for more than fifty years..."

As Mikhail's crimes were being narrated, Juri moved a little closer until she managed to see Jacob Rygemann at a press conference, and soon her eldest half-brother Eduard and his wife Peggy being trailed by journalists and cameramen.

"Jacob Patrick Rygemann, son of RGC's deceased hedge fund executive, Logan Connor Rygemann, has stepped out from his decades of hiding under the identity of Kenneth Ryan with a stack of evidence against Mikhail Romanovros. Mr. Rygemann explained at a press conference that he has been waiting for the right time to reveal the truth in order for his goal to bring justice to his father's death to not come to waste. He has revealed that his father's death had never been suicide that the public was made to believe all these years, but coldblooded murder under Mikhail Romanovros' machinations for discovering all of his white-collar crimes. CEO of multi-billion conglomerate Legacy International Inc., Eduard Romanovros, who has been funding decades of investigation for his mother's unsolved murder case, arrived shortly with his wife Peggy Marquel after his estranged grandfather was arrested by U.S. authorities. Part of Jacob Rygemann's mounting evidence against Mikhail Romanovros includes his hand at deceased concert pianist Cecilia Russenholt's brutal murder in Australia more than ten years ago. This has been the moment Eduard Romanovros has been waiting all his life—justice for his mother's death. Mr. Eduard Romanovros has confirmed that his brother Nikolai Romanovros and sister-in-law Rachel Carlyle will be flying from Oxford, Great Britain to Washington in order witness the trial. His aunt Chef Irina Romanovros will also be flying from France to the U.S. for the trial that is embattling their family. As for word if his father, former legendary tennis player and chairman of Legacy, Artur Romanovros, who is currently in Japan, no—"

Artur shut the TV off and said, "I'm going to have to testify. I don't know everything, but I knew my father made a lot of money out of his illegal businesses."
