"Oh, those are called Scrabs. They are basically rolling balls of annoyance." Rick says as we enter what looks to be a high school gym, with one side stuffed with workout machines. To one side I see three ripped guys standing around in tight muscle shirts. Near the corner their are 10 chairs with one filled by what looks to be an army soldier, in uniform and everything. He is looking over a modified paintball gun in his hands when he notices me walking in.

"Go over to the rack," Rick points to his left, " and choose a weapon. Their not real and won't fire until we allow you to. When you done go sit next to you 'new recruit buddy's and wait until everyone arrives."

"Ok." I reply.

Rick turns to leave and says," I would try and learn a thing or two from you partner here about the gun, you'll need it."

I nod my head and make my way over to the rack. When I get there I see the rack extends another 10 feet into the wall. When I look, the racks are so full of guns, there are two different layers one both racks. From pistols to shotguns to rifles and there were still more that I couldn't even image what they were used for. Standing there looking at the guns when the army guy walks up, "I would go with a pistol or a submachine gun. Anyway names Robbie, ex-army soldier."

He extends his hand and I shake it in his firm grip. "Um, thanks. My name is Leon, astrospace engineer."

Robbie smiles, " Yeah, I can tell by you hand shake. But get a revolver and a sub, probably your best bet if we are going to battle."

"Hey thanks!" I say as he heads back to his seat.

"You won't be saying that later..." I missed the last part but I get the idea. I look over to see the three trainers looking me up and down. Better get something before something happens, I think. So while I browse the racks when I find a pistol I like I pick it up and look down the sights at the back wall. After messing with the gun, I notice on the side is says Cronus, I look around and find one more, but this one feels heavier. Oh well, let's get out of here, I think. When I turn around one of the trainers is bringing another two recruits over and explaining what to do. As I pass by the trainer looks at me then both of the guns but says nothing.

...

An hour later everyone is here, three women and seven guys, ok. Each one with different weapons and from all walks of life.

"ALRIGHT NEWBIES." Yells Rick. We all start to look around for where the voice came from. When we don't see anyone, we look to the trainers, they smile and shake there head. All the sudden the girl right in the middle falls to the ground as her chair collapse. Robbie immediately jumps out of his chair and with his back to the wall, his sniper rifle is raised and constantly looking side to side both him and I notice a little red light starting to flash on his gun. I lift my first pistol and see the same thing, a little red flashing light. Robbie points his gun at one of the lights as the others get up from their seats. With a quick pull of the trigger, he fires a round into one of the lights. A poof of air is followed by the sound of a industrial light shattering and hitting the ground. Robbie grins wildly, "... rubber rounds. oh this is going to be fun." Next thing I know the lights all go out pitching us into darkness. I hesitantly raise my guns swinging it.

"All weapons are live. Commence battle stimulation ;Free for all."
An electronic woman's voice comes from above.

"Map; maze. Starting round in 5." She continues as I start to feel the floor shift.
"One, round one. start." The lights immediately flash back on and I here people start firing.

Once I finally can see, I notice the 7 foot walls have put me in a small corridor, as I look over the edge up see two mounds one in the middle and one off in a corner. I look over my pistol and the lights is full red. A bullet counter reads 15. I decide the best course of action is to try and head to the far corner and get a better vantage point. I look to the right and head in that direction. I peak around the corner to see one of the trainers down aways running after a black shape who just disappeared around a corner. I head the opposite way and then get lost. Decide to hide in a dead end and wait. The next thing I know I see Robbie turn the corner and raise his gun to level with my chest. For what felt like forever, Robbie lowers his sniper and gives me a nod. I relax and lower my weapon. All the sudden a sharp pain filled with what can only be felt as getting tazered, slams into my chest. Before I blackout, I look to see Robbie standing right beside the corner with the sniper barrel facing me.

" You should of shot me when you had the chance." I Hear Robbie say as he disappears from sight.
