When morning came I rose from my bed sore and exhausted. The past few weeks had finally caught up with me and I was ready to call Sasuke and tell him that I wasn't going to make it to training with him. However, by the time I got dressed and my mane of tangles taken care of there was a knock on the door and then in came the dark haired ninja.

"Did I say you could come in?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"Your voice may have said nothing but your heart said that you could hardly wait to see me." Sasuke said leaning in to kiss me but I turned my face away.

He stared down at me until I turned back towards him. He didn't go in to kiss me like I thought he would; instead, he stood there slowly wrapping his arms around my hips and peered into my eyes with sad puppy dog eyes.

"What are those for?" I asked starting to feel guilty

"You are such a tease and you don't even know it." Sasuke said, suddenly lifting me up and slinging me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"Put me down this instance, Sasuke!" I demanded beating on his back with little avail.

"Nah. I think I'll just bring you with me wherever I go. And right now I say we go to the training grounds for some fun." The Uchiha said in a tone that sent shivers down my spine as if I was a mouse being played with by a cat before I died.

We made it to the training grounds where no one from our team was.

"Where are the others?" I asked trying to look around as I dangled from Sauke's shoulder.

"I gave them a day off. Also, I wanted you all to myself today to train." He answered.

He then set me down and before I could recover from being upside down for about three minutes I was being attacked by the ruthless ninja.

He came at me with his chidori his Sharingan already activated and staring deep into my soul. I blocked his right hand with my left while dipping under his arm and twisting as I did to face his back. I went to hit one of his chakra points just as my Byakugan was activated but I was too slow. My hand missed his back just as he grabbed my wrist with his left hand his chidori still sparking in his right.

I twisted so my back faced him and flipped him over my shoulder grabbing his left wrist that gripped mine. The Black Ops leader easily landed on his feet and turned immediately attacking with his right hand. I barely dodged his hand as I released his wrist and dove to my right side.

I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up as the electricity passed the air above me. I rolled cushioning the dive and turned back to him, but again I was too slow for the Uchiha who now had extinguished the chidori and trapped both my wrists in his hands.

"I win." Sasuke muttered smirking at me ear to ear.

"If you win then I'm dead and I can now haunt you for the rest of your life." I said leaning my head in closer to him. "You shall live your life knowing that you killed the only person you loved."

"Deep." He whispered bringing his right hand down to my left hip bone releasing my left wrist from his grip.

I stared at him quizzically wondering what he was up to. Just then his other arm wrapped itself around my entire waist and lifted me in the air twirling me around. I laughed as I looked down at Sasuke seeing his smiling face centimeters from mine.

He gently set me back on my feet and went into a waltz position. We slowly started dancing around the training ground our bodies tightly pressed together as if we were glued together.

We moved simultaneously, flowing with each step never removing our eyes for the other's. When we stopped I was twirled and then dipped signally the end of our dance.

"Do you love me?" Sasuke asked his face serious with his onyx eyes boring into my lavender.

"Of course. Why? Do you question my loyalty to you?" I asked my whole weight on his one arm that held me firmly in place at my lower back.

"I just want you to remember that I was the first to claim your heart as my own. I want you to remember this because I will never give your heart back to you no matter how much you beg." Sasuke answered in a menacing voice making me shake in his arms slightly from fear and slightly from excitement to have someone care so much.

"I will remember that promise." I said looking back and forth between his eyes.

Sasuke didn't smile or giving any indication that he was happy. He merely lifted me up closer to him with ease bringing my lips to his. We shared a kiss that promised our fate together.

~ Three Years Later~

It was only Sasuke and I on the training ground. Naruto was too busy preparing to be made Hokage, Kiba was too busy preparing for his wedding with Ino, Shikamaru was at the hospital most likely holding Temari's hand as she gave birth to their first born, and Shino was on a  mission on retrieving a rare insect that was currently endangered and being hunted down.

Sasuke and I were done training sitting under the shade of an old oak drinking water and laughing about how Shikamaru will need to have his hand fixed after Temari's death grip.

Just as I was about to tell Sasuke we should leave he stood up and offered me his hand. I took it and was pulled firmly into his chest. Just like three years ago he moved us into a waltz position.

I smiled as he twirled me around and then set me down which was when we danced to music only we could hear. Just as our "song" was drawing to an end Sasuke stepped back his hands still holding my left hand he knelt down.

I stared down at him in a confused matter. He had done this many times before but he always just said something stupid like I was the most beautiful woman he has ever set eyes on or something in that sort. He had been doing this for about a month now and I was curious to see what he had to say this time.

As I stared down at him Sasuke seemed to fidget nervously not sure of what to say or do.

"What? Do you need me to tie your shoe?" I asked giggling a little to myself.

"No." He swallowed hard and then reached in his pocket at slipped some cold metal around my ring finger.

"Hinata Hyuuga, will you join together with me body and soul through marriage until deaths do us part?" Sasuke asked sliding his fingers down to just my fingertips.

My eyes fell on the ring he had placed on my finger. It was simple with only one small crystal on the very top but at the same time it was exquisite. Much like our relationship; simple but overpowering at times. My eyes then flashed back to Sasuke's dark ones and all I once I was overwhelmed again with how much I had fallen for the once cold ninja. He was the one that held my heart gently, yet in such a tight vice grip that I couldn't escape.

"Yes." I whispered out finally answering his proposal.

Sasuke's eyes gleamed with such joy and excitement that I had to say it again just so I could hear myself. "Yes." Again my voice was barely audible but this time I knew that even before a wedding that we had made a solemn vow of a lifetime together in just a simple proposal.
