"Stop it, Violet!" I smiled at her as she leaned her head back and closed her eyes shut. She let out a laugh as I pretended to be mad at her. I loved her laugh so much, she could drive me crazy with doing simple things. Like laughing or smiling, she was my whole world. I loved her with all of my heart and I was very glad that I met her.
She made me forget my pain and sadness, she was my light in the darkness. I would do anything for her to stay with me forever, I had this fear where she could disappear any second.
"Sorry," She said after she tried to contain her laugh, but she kept giggling. "I just can't be serious while you looking at me like that." I shook my head and put the sketch with the pencil down on the grass. I ran my fingers through my hair, which grew longer than before and pushed it back.
We were sitting in the park. We decided to take a walk and breathe fresh air. We always loved to sit here and draw or talk, it was very nice. But before we left the house I decided to take the sketch with me and draw for a bit. I planned on drawing nature, but she was beautiful too so I decided drawing her.
I was glad that she didn't find it creepy when Elle and her sneaked to my room and saw my sketches. I remembered when I caught them and it was funny because Elle disappeared in a blink of an eye that day. But I was glad, she left me alone with Violet.
"How am I looking at you?" She mocked me and made a serious face, as if it was me. "I don't look like that." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, really?"
I nodded my head. "Now, back to your position." She gave me one last smile before looking behind me.
I took my sketch and pencil, and started drawing again. I brought my focus on her and the sketch on my lap. While I was drawing and kept glancing at her every now and then, I noticed that she zoned off. She was like on another planet.
I frowned and wondered what she was thinking of at the moment. I sighed and put the sketch and my pencil down again, she noticed and looked at me in confusion.
"What's wrong? Why did you stop?" She was sitting across from me, I stood up and moved myself to sit beside her.
"What are you thinking of?"
She giggled. "Us." I smiled and waited for her to continue, but she didn't. Instead, she looked at the view of the kids playing and laughing. Their family were sitting on the grass or tables, keeping an eye on them. Couples were sitting also on the grass or on benches.
But what caught my attention, was two old couple sitting on a bench far away. I smiled and glanced back at Violet. I tapped on her shoulder, when she looked at me I pointed at the couple.
"What do you think of them when you look at them?"
She smiled and after a short silence she spoke. "The notebook? When he was telling her the story?"
I chuckled. "No, silly! Really." She turned her head to look at me.
"What do you think of them?"
"I asked you first."
"It's your question, though." I sighed, giving up. She chuckled and waited for my answer.
"I don't know. Maybe, they make me think of the future?" She nodded. "You?"
