Sam ran with all his might with his sister close behind him. He turned his head to his sister, Riley and said
"We're not fast enough! We need to be faster! Wolf up!" Sam jumped on a log and jumped forward quickly but while in the air he thought of a wolf in his brain as hard as he could. He could already feel his whole body changing at once his ears going to the top of his head, his nose growing larger and longer, his hands and feet turning into paws, and the skin on his body growing with hair both gray and black. Luckily when they shift their clothes morph into their body and when they shift back into a human their clothes come back.
Sam smelled the air and smelled bird close by, very close actually he looked to his left and saw a brightly colored bird flying next to him. He looked down at the birds claws and saw a wooden ring. They both got wooden rings so they could just think the animal to shift into instead of killing that animal. The ring also allowed them to speak to each as different animal and still be able to understand each other.
"Riley!" He shouted to Her "Where to, you lead the way!" Riley nodded back to him. She flew up ahead and shouted
"Flight time!" Sam understood what she had said and jumped into her claws. I Riley flew straight up and dropped him into the air. Sam again thought as hard as he could but this time he thought of a hummingbird. He could feel his whole body shrink, his arms turned into feathery wing, his legs turned into small claws, his mouth was stretched far, and the fur he had was changed into feathers. He flapped his wings and zoomed up next to Riley
"We're going to the mountain."Riley said.
"Not again traveling back took four hours of walking!"
"It's the safest place for us okay?" Sam dipped his head and kept flying forward.
