Air rushed through Riley's hair as she ran joyfully after her brother he cut right and then left, Riley followed but quicker.  He cut left and jumped off a cliff he looked and smiled at her, but before she could save him he hit the ground and she woke up. She was drenched with sweat from head to chest. She looked around for Sam and saw him awake and getting up from the sound of her. She reached over to him and hugged him tightly, Sam didn't know what to do so he awkwardly patted her back.
"Oh thank goodness your alive." Riley whispered to herself. She sat herself back into her sleeping position and slowly fell back asleep.

His father nudged Sam to wake him up and said

"Shhhh. We're getting close." Sam was confused by his statement

"Why did they need to be quite? Wasn't this a safe place?" Sam didn't question his father because he knew it was for his best. His father went and woke up Riley who had dried sweat all over her and she stank. They stayed where they were and waited for further instructions. Their father went out to scope this Hemereld's Valley place. They waited for their father for about thirty minutes when he came back.

"Okay the valley has three entrances one in the front and one in the--" he was interrupted by Sam saying

"Why does this sound like we're going to have to sneak in?"

"Well because I'm not welcome there. And if a guard sees you with me we're all dead crow food."

"Why don't we just shift our look?"Riley suggested.

"The mutants in there can see straight through disguises. So we have to sneak in. Here take these." He said handing a Cinquedea to both of them. It was smaller than a sword but bigger than a knife or a dagger. Sam took his and balanced it across his finger. It was considerably light and very well balanced. He took it into his grasp and gave it a practice swing. It felt good inside his grasp. It felt like it was supposed to be. Riley on the other hand did not like her Cinquedea at all.
"No thank you I don't want it."

"Well you have to have a weapon or else it's going to be very hard for you. Here take these instead of just this." He said as he took the Cinquedea from her and gave her and short bow with a quiver half full of arrows, and a dagger. She liked this combination better than just one weapon.
"Okay we will go in the side entrance and stay with my brother... You ready?"he asked the kids. They both nodded their heads on agreement."Then let's go." They sprinted off into Hemereld's Valley.
