Luke has been in the hospital for about two weeks now. Every day he has a chance of either getting better or worse. Thankfully he has been getting better. Slowly but surely. Today he is finally being discharged from the hospital. (Discharged means released if you didn't know that.)

Last night I couldn't sleep. I was worried that if Luke leaves the hospital he could get worse. Im just really happy that its summer vacation otherwise I would be completely screwed. My alarm clock finally goes off, indicating that its morning.

I couldn't be happier to hear that damn alarm. I quickly get out of bed and jump into the shower. Once I'm finished with my shower i grab a towel and dry myself off. When I finish drying myself off, i put on a bath robe and walk over to my closet.

I start going through my closet and finally decide on floral printed joggers and a black shirt. After I change into my clothes, i walk back into my bathroom and do my hair and makeup.

I put my hair into a high ponytail and get out my makeup bag. I take out my mascara, eyelash curler, foundation, and my makeup brush. I put some of the foundation on my brush, and smoothly apply the makeup. When I finish applying the foundation, i take a tissue and dab away the extra makeup.

I clean up the counter and start on my mascara. I curl my eyelashes and then apply mascara. I look in the mirror, satisfied with my appearance and check my phone.

I find myself crying again. No. Stop Joey. You need to stay strong for him, for Luke.

I wipe my tears away and i walk downstairs. When i walk into the kitchen, i see a note taped to the fridge door.

Morning Jo,
I had to leave early this morning for a meeting and so don't freak out that I'm not there. Also, i know today Luke is discharged from the hospital. So if you want to stay with him for the rest of the day i don't mind. I love you so much alright, see you soon.

She said 'mum'. Wait, does this mean that she is like my new... mom? I mean yeah she is my step-mom but like ugh i don't actually know. I cant add that thought right now. I need to focus on today. Luke. I needed to make sure he is ok.

️I grabbed a ceramic bowl, the milk and some cereal. I quickly ate, cleaned up my bowl and ran out of the house. Once i got into my car i had to calm myself. If I didn't, who knows what could happen.

I turned the engine on and backed out of my driveway, waving to my neighbors as i pull out. Once I've pulled out, i turn on Bring me to the Horizon. Their music always calms me down.

It takes me about twenty minutes to get the hospital. I park my car and walk in. Every time i walk into a hospital i get a strange feeling. The nurse at the reception desk looks up and flashes her bright smile.

"Hi. How can i help you today?" She smiles again. "Uh Im here for Luke Hemmings?" She starts typing something on her computer and asks another question. "Relation to Mr. Hemmings?" "Girlfriend." She looks up as if she was remembering when i first came here.

"Alright. Um let me print your visiting pass." I nod my head in response. She finishes typing and i hear the printer start up. The nurse snaps me out of my thoughts by speaking,

"You must be excited for Mr. Hemmings discharge?" I smile at her words. "Yeah. Super excited." She chuckles softly and says "I can tell." and walks away. I assume she is getting my visitor pass because if she just left like thats straight up rude.

I see her walk back and yep, my assumption was right. "Have a great day." She smiles again and hands me my pass. I gladly put it on, knowing that this will be the last time i will do this. Hopefully for a long time.

I push the door open and walk towards the elevator. But before I could reach the elevator, Ash runs past me.

"Ash! Yo dude wait up!" He immediately turns around and walks towards me. "What up Jo?" I laugh at my nickname. "What? Is my fly down or something?" I was laughing so much by now i was crying. "N-o st-op i c-cant bre-ath-e."

He was laughing by now to. "Okay okay i will. Cal and Mikey are already with Luke so we should hurry up there." I stop laughing finally and wipe my eyes, making sure to not smear my mascara. "Alright lets go."
