Growing Up A Payne

Chapter 1

 Lily's p.o.v.

I woke up on a Saturday morning at 9 because Scarlett wouldn't leave me alone. I also have a gymnastics meet today. I really am not in the mood to go but it is the first one dad can see since he left 5 months ago. He is my biggest fan according to him. The entire family tags along. Parker comes because we grew up super close. Hudson doesn't like coming but he has to. Hazel loves coming. The rest of the younger kids have to come because they can't stay home by themselves. 

I finally get up and go downstairs. Everyone is up besides Parker. He sleeps so late. I get toast and start making eggs. I always eat this on days of meets. Once my eggs were done my toast popped up and I put them on the plate. I sat down at the table and started eating. I am still so tired. 

"Hey Lily" Parker said sitting next to me. 

"Hey Park" I smiled at him. He hated that nickname.

"Really?" he looked at me

"Yeah really" I said back. 

"What was wrong last night? You were angry about something. My room is right next to yours and you sounded mad. I sent Scarlett in there" he said

"Umm.. Caleb cheated on me and I broke up with him. He got Audrey pregnant" I said looking at my plate.

"I'm sorry that stinks. Would you mind after your meet today driving me and Maddie to the movies?" he asked

"Umm yeah just figure out what time after the meet would work. I will go to Audrey's house while I wait" I said

"Your going to go over there?" he asked

"Yeah, I mean Caleb never will be there for the baby so I am going to" I said finishing my food. 

"Ok, I will tell you the time of the movie" he said leaving the table. I put my dishes in the sink and sat on the couch. The meet was at noon. 

"Hey Lily will you get Asher for me please" My mum called from what I think the triplets room. 

"Yep" I grab Asher from the play area and bring him upstairs. I walk into the triplets room and see Emma and Violet sleeping.

"Are they napping right now so they can go to my meet later?" I asked her

"Oh honey I totally forgot about your meet today. I can't go with the triplets. I am so sorry honey" she said.

"It's ok." I said handing Asher to mum and leaving. I go to dad's office and see him on his phone. 

"Hey dad" I said. He looked up and smiled at me.

"Hey Lily, when are we leaving for your meet" thank god he remembered.

"Around 11. I need to get there early" I said

"Ok sounds great," he smiles at me again.

"Mum forgot" I said

"She did, I told her this morning. Hmm. Well I will be there with Hazel and Parker." he smiled. Now I know why she isn't going. Hudson doesn't want to come. I honestly don't think that is very fair. I go to all his basketball games even when I had practice because that's what family does. 

"Alright" I nod and leave. I need to get ready. I go to my bedroom and grab my leo that is black on one sleeve and on the body. One sleeve is nude. There are a bunch of orange, black and nude swirls and a few rinestones.I braid my hair like a french braid and then into a bun. I slide on my leo and then made sure I had everything. Needed my grips for bars. I grab my make up. My coach does my make up for me. 

I head downstairs and see Parker, Hazel and dad ready to go. "Are you ready Lily?" he asked

"Yeah I am" I say and slide on my jacket and shoes. We head out. It didn't take long to get there. Once we pull up dad lets me out before so I can my makeup done. I make my way to the gym and see a bunch of girls. This always gets me excited. I find my coach and give her my bag. She pulls out my make up and starts. We always change it up. Once she was done she wanted me to practice bars. This is always my hardest.
