Chapter 13

“Congratulations Half bloods and Creatures! We are pleased to welcome you all for passing the final exam. You did your great and we are glad that you are standing here.” Headmistress Ivia exclaimed with a hint of joy in her voice. Katabi ko si Elo ngayon at nakaupo kami sa malawak na hall. Nakita namin sila kanina na nakaupo na sa may bandang unahan at kinawayan nila kaming tatlo nila Neo at ng babae. Sa kanan ko ay katabi ko si Xia na kahilera kasama sila Kadira. I didn’t know where Neo and the girl seated. 

We were teleported by the guy that we fought earlier after he said that we passed and everything was white. Nagulat na lang kami na nasa harapan na kami ng doubled door na pinto. It was standing tall. But I didn't really expect that it was the final exam—the one that brought pain to us.

I was in awe to see how beautiful the hall was when we entered inside. It had a pure white interior, with a marbled floor and a stage with a red curtain where the headmistress stands together with a group of students sitting at the back. I know it’s a theatre hall because we had one in the capitol.

“Maybe you’re wondering what happened to you in the final exam. You encountered them wearing cloaks and they had a different challenge to each one of you. I am  pleased to introduce you, new students, The High Order Council!” Pagkatapos niyang sabihin yon ay tumayo ang nakaupong mga estudeyante sa likuran niya, they are nine in total. Wearing different colors of cloaks. They simply bowed down to us, some were smiling, some were wearing smirks, but someone got my attention. 

The guy on the right side is wearing black cloak and he’s not smiling at all, instead he has this cold demeanor. And he seemed like a dangerous one, unlike the man that we encountered in the forest. He didn't show any emotions and just stared blankly, but suddenly his eyes shifted on me. Our eyes met and I swear for the first time my heart was beating so loud that I thought it would get out of my ribs.

Hindi kilig ang nararamdaman ko kundi pangamba. 

Takot. 

His gaze pierced at me and looks like he would kill me. This is the first time I felt the extreme fear in my system. I act tough all the time but there’s something about this guy that makes me tremble in fear. Nahigit ko ang aking hininga sa paraan ng titig niya ngunit naputol lang ang kabang iyon ng siniko ako ng katabi ko. 

“Oh my gods the boys are so hot I think I’m gonna faint. Sabi ko sayo Ade may mga gwapo dito eh, naiinspired tuloy akong mag aral.” Nakangiwi ako ng tumingin sa kanya. “Stop that you sound like a maniac.” Masama siyang tumingin sa akin, “Anong manyak ka diyan, duh I just know how to appreciate the foods in form of flesh.”  Mas lalo akong napangiwi ng maintindihan ko ang ibig sabihin niya.

“Kadiri ka, pwede bang manahimik ka na lang kung walang matinong salita na lalabas sa bibig mo.” She made a face at me before facing in front of us. HIndi na ako muling nagtangkang tumingin sa lalaki dahil pinagpapawisan ako ng malamig. 

“As much as we want to celebrate this event further we know that you’re tired. So you can now have a rest in your temporary dorms.” Nakahinga ako ng maluwag sa sinabi ng headmistress, sa wakas ay maipapahinga ko na rin ang bugbog kong katawan.

“The aurais will guide you to your respected rooms. You know the drill, it is strictly prohibited for the boys and to sleep in one room. That’s all, see you tomorrow at the banquet hall, exactly 7 am sharp. And again I give you my warmest congratulations, welcome to the Greek University my dearest half bloods!”

Pagkatapos kaming ihatid ng aurai sa kwarto namin ay walang salitang iniwan niya kami. Sa kasamaang palad ay kasama ko pala ang tatlong babae maliban kay Elo. Xia was the first one to open the door and a living room welcomed us. Sumunod si Kadira na sinundan naman ng babae na kasama ni Neo at si Elo. Ako ang huling pumasok at isinara ang pinto. Umupo sila sa sofa habang ako naman ay umakyat sa hagdan upang humiga na.
