Chapter 16

Tw. Mention of rape.

When I entered our classroom, the students automatically looked at me as if they would devour me.

Sharp stares and mocking grins.

The centaur, who is our teacher, smiled at me gently. “Who are you halfblood?” I was about to answer him but I was interrupted when a voice shouted from a distance. “That's the unclaimed demigod! Hah what a shame!” Tumawa ng nakakainis ang mga demigod sa loob. I looked at the fucking halfblood who shouted.

A man with brown hair and an irritating grin. He's looking at me with that arrogant expression painted in his face.                                       

“Silence Rafaelo, I'm not asking your filthy mouth.” I returned my smirk at him when the centaur scolded him. But he seemed like he didn't care. Pero ng makita niya ang nakakainis kong ngiti ay sumama ang timpla ng mukha nito.

So this is the first day of class huh? What a nice welcome. Two men just destroyed my morning.

I politely said my name to the centaur and he let me sit in front. Pinaalis niya yong isang babae na brown din ang buhok. Umirap ito sakin bago tumayo. Nang maupo ako ay naging mailap ang dalawang katabi ko sa magkabila. Para bang may nakakahawa akong sakit.

Hindi ko na lang ito pinansin at humarap na sa centaur. Who cares? I’m allergic to them as well.

Nang natuon ang atensyon ko sa harapan ay nakita kong may inaayos ang centaur sa lamesa niya. I don't hate centaurs and nymphs anyways, they always look mesmerising in my eyes. Even though I heard some discriminations from some half bloods I interact with in the Capitol.

For them these creatures are worthless, simply because they don't have any powerful specials. They even said that they only fit in as slaves.

Which is irritating because I would even choose to be a centaur or a nymph. Luring half bloods to their death.

I smiled with my devilish thought.

“Earlier we discussed the Olympians and their heroic deeds. Now let’s move on to our second topic which are the different creatures that are allowed to study in Greek University. First are the half bloods, they are the offspring of a god and a human. They were half mortal and half human—that’s all of you. You are all powerful in different ways. However, there are what we call the direct and indirect descendants. Direct descendants are those who inherit God's skills and attributes. They are called the favoured ones. The opposite descendants are the indirect, half bloods who possess either black or brown hair and eyes.” When I entered our classroom, I didn’t see a single demigod who possessed eye-catching hair. Maybe because they were all indirect ones.

An idea came across my mind so I raised my hand confidently. Napansin agad yon ng centaur kaya hinayaang niya akong magsalita. “Yes half blood?” I cleared my throat tried to volumize my voice.

“Does it mean that the class where I’m in, are a bunch of INDIRECT descendants?” Sinadya kong idiin ang salitang “Indirect” para ipamukha sa kanila na hindi sila espesyal katulad ko. Because if they were, why wouldn’t their  lovely gods make them their direct descendants?

Nakaramdam ako ng matatalas na tingin sa paligid, parang kahit anong oras ay papatayin nila ako. I smirked because I just pull their fucking trigger asses.

“Ah yes you're right, demigod. This is the section Achilles, the third rank in University. Here are the indirect and indirect descendants of minor and major gods.” Casual siyang sumagot as akin at maliit na ngumiti. My classmates are so peculiarly quiet that I can't even hear them breathing.
