~Avril's POV~
It's been a week and I'm already doing Luna stuff and I have to say it's very tiring. Like yesterday we had a pack meeting about a rouge problem that's still in action so there's another one today. We have to go to the Dusk pack, a 12 hour drive but if we run it would be at least 6 so I vote for running. I got dressed in a pair of skinny jeans, a white tank top that had the "👽" emoji on it, and my white Jordens. I put waves in my hair and put my white flower headband on while finishing my make up. I walked to Dylen's office be greates with 5 people.
"Afternoon Luna" they all said making me roll my eyes
"Wat did I say? Plz call me Avril. And Tattoos u know better" I laughed
"Oh hush shorty" he said
"U look beautiful sweetheart" Dylen said grabbing me by my waist
"And u look good too" I replied
"Thank u" he said giving me a kiss
"Ok eww, can we go?" Alex said fake gagging
"Oh hush, it's cute" Ethan said
"Ya sure, Dylen lets go before its to late" Tyler said
"U can suck her face off later" Grayson said making everyone laugh
"U think u can shift? If ur leg still hurts we can drive" Dylen said
"I'm fine, and I could go for a run" I said
"Alright let's go" Dylen said
~after about 6 hours of running~
"Ahh I'm so tiredddd" Grayson yelled
"Come on drama queen" I said
"And u know it" he said snapping his fingers in a Z
"...Grayson? Are u.."
"Shut it Chris, and no so shut up" he said
"Both of yall shut up, let's go ladies" Dylen said making me giggle. Once we walked to the door a skinny male opened the door smiling.
"Welcome to the Dusk Pack, are u here to see Alpha Adam?" He said with a very deep voice
"Yes, I'm Alpha Dylen and this is my mate Avril" he replied
"Nice to see u, please come in the office is down the hall then make a left" he bowed letting us in. The house was very beautiful but not as beautiful as Dylen's bc it wasn't so modern, it looked like a penthouse but with more bedrooms. Once we made it to Adam's office the beta opened the door.
"Adam will see u now" the beta said
"Thank u Ash" said Dylen. When we walked in we all sat down but I noticed that there were no more chairs so I stood until Dylen pulled me into his lap kissing my temple.
"Afternoon Dylen, Tyler, Dolans, Chris, Alex, but who is this beautiful young lady?" He said smiling at me
"Avril" I said
"Pretty name for a pretty girl like u" he said making Dylen growl lowly
"Ur Dylen's mate huh? He's a very lucky man" Adam said
"Ik I am, so can we keep it professional Adam" he snapped lowly
"Of course, now I called u here bc there has been sightings that the nightmare pack has been walking around our pack. We don't know wat they want but they have been around for a few weeks now and we just want to keep u posted just in case they want a war, we could over throw them if it starts a problem." He said sitting in his chair
"That could work, we have a rouge problem our self but idk who or wat they want but I have my best trackers on the trail." Dylen said
"Great, we will keep in touch for each problem" Adam said
"Ok" Dylen said
"But there's a problem.." Adam stated
"Wat?" Tyler said
"We're 1 warrior short so we need a volunteer" Ash said
"How about Avril" Alex said
"Wat?! No Alex it's too dangerous" Chris said
"I agree" Dylen said
"Oh come on, u seen how she knocked out the Luna text and besides she's like a mini Alpha" she said
"Idk Alex" Dylen said
"Wat does she mean by mini alpha?" Adam said
"Well sir, I wasn't just ur average rouge. Before Tyer found me I was hurt but I'm not just a regular wolf, Ima white wolf" I said
"So ur a Alphen?" He asked
"A wat?" I said
"Alphen, I think it's time for a story" he said
"Yes tell us bc I'm lost" Dylen said. Adam grabbed a big book flipping through it then pushed his glasses up.
"Alphen, pronounced as Alpha goddess in Greek. It's usually white with a gray lighting bolt on the side of the rib cage and is basically like a male alpha just not as powerful. They can run a full pack of something was to happen to the regular alpha but Alphen's are rare, there's like only 14 percent of there population. About a thousand years ago the first Alphen took over the pack when her mate died and ever since there has been a few offsprings but have never been found..until now" He said looking at me
"Well this is great news" Dylen said
"Actually not really" Ash said
"Why?" I said
"Bc Alphen's are endangered" he said making me shake
"No one will touch her, I'll kill them if they do" Dylen said
"We all will" Tyler, Chris, and the Dolans said
"I'll be the judge of that, Avril I have a few questions for u" Adam said
"Alright" I said
"Now, do u have a sibling or something?" He asked
"Yes, Chris is my twin brother" I said
"When u howl, does it make people fear u and bow down to u?" He continued
"Yes sir" I said
"Have u and Chris had any flashbacks when u come in contact?" He asked
"Yes, and sometimes we finish each other's sentences" I said
"I need u to listen to me very carefully Avril, u too Chris" he said making us nod
"Now if someone ever takes u, they can brainwash u into being evil. If this ever happens ur brother would be the only one to bring u back to ur normal self" he said
"Wat? How? Why not me I'm her mate!" Dylen yelled so I rubbed his cheek making him calm down
"U do help Dylen. Once Chris touches her and they have the flashback of memories it may also make u guys pass out so Dylen u would have to mate with her when the heat starts so when she's brainwashed she won't forget u and it won't take as long as it would if she was just with Chris. She would forget her mate when we woke up so mating is important and by the way Avril smells it may start tomorrow. He said
"Wats the heat?" I asked
"It's when the moon goddess gets really horny for her mate so she will put u in pain and make u burning hot until u mate with Dylen" Adam said. I just nodded not really in the mood for talking no more.
"Who would want to take Avril anyway?" Alex asked
"Anyone who knows she's an Alphen" and when he said that my heart froze
"Avril are u ok? Ur pale" Dylen said
"Someone has seen me in my wolf form" I said
"Who?" They all asked
"Well idk his name, I just know that his Alphas name is Mason" I said making everyone growl
"Mason is the alpha of the Nightmare Pack" Tyler said
"Was Camaron the one who attacked u?" Dylen asked
"Yes" I said
"Oh Avril now ur life is really in danger, Mason is a very vicious killer and if he gets his hands on u he will try to take us out" Adam said making me tear up
"Babe don't cry, it's on he won't get u and if he does me and the packs will come get u" Dylen said
"And I'll ki the whole pack, there not taking my sister away from me again" Chris said making me smile.
"Avril can u leave ur headband here? If they do take u we need them to memorize ur sent so it won't take years to track u" Ash said
"Ya" I said giving him my headband
"And when we get home I'll have the trackers smell ur sweater just in case" Dylen said and I just nodded
"Well, I think this is enough for the day, Dylen we will keep in touch. And Avril please call me Uncle Adam bc u remind me of my daughter" he said making me smile
"Alright" I said. Once we said our goodbyes we took off back to the pack house making me think, wat of I get taken and they make me hurt my mate? I'd be so broken his I caused home pain.
"Babe. Its ok, u won't hurt me" Dylen mind linked me
"Ok.." I replied
"I love u" he said
"I love u too" I said smiling. When we got back it was 6 ok and I was tired since we woke up at 5 this morning.
"I'm gonna take a nap" I said
"Ok baby girl, I'll be in my office if u need anything" Dylen said
"Ok" I said walking to our room. I stripped down and put on one of his T-shirts and pulled the duvet over my chest drifting to sleep.
~Masons POV~
So she's a Alphen? That's just wat I need. Ever since Camaron came and told me about the rouge I wanted to use her for more power so I can take down the Nightwalkers. When Camaron came back he told me that she was already gone and her sent was lost. That's gonna make things harder so I have one of my men out looking for her now..don't worry sweetheart, ull be mine soon. Real soon.

So Avril's a Alphen, Camaron is the beta for Mason who runs Nightmare pack, the heat is coming, and Avril is gonna be in danger. I wonder wats gonna happen in the next chapter.. SPOILER ALERT: happy stuff but not so sure about the other one so stick around.💕
