Red's POV
It's been a week since I've been living in the NightWalkers Pack and it's been..ok. The pack members don't really talk to me since I'm just here for business but Dylan wants me to fit in so im trying my hardest. The girls here respect Avril which is very rare in some packs bc usually they are jealous of their Luna but not here, everyone treats everyone else equal and I'm glad I was picked for this job. I was getting ready for the moon goddess party, it's when all the Alphas from different packs bring their mates and betas to gathering to give thanks to the moon goddess for blessing them with mates. It's nothing big, but a bunch of drinking, toasting, dancing, and meeting new people. As I was putting on my shirt Avril and Alex came in with a big bad.
"I hope u don't plan on wearing that to the party" Alex said
"It's a fancy gathering Red" Avril said
"This is fancy" I pointed out
"A dress shirt and some dressy pants is not fancy" Alex said
"Come on Red, me and Dylan are the special guests this year so u need to be classy" Avril said
"Avril u hate being fancy" I said
"Ik..but it's just for today, and who said I was getting dolled up like that" she said
"But Avril" I protested
"No Red, Alex get him ready while I got help Dylan" Avril said walking out of the room

After about an half hour I was dressed up in a black suit, my hair slicked back with a lot of products Alex put in, and a dark blue hankie. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 7:45 and the part starts at so I made my way to the kitchen when Chris mindlinked me.
"Red, Dylan and Avril want u outside with us"
"And Avril said there are seating arrangements so find ur name"
I walked into the backyard looking for Chris when someone bumped into me
"Excuse me, I trying to find my boyfriend" said a dark haired boy
"Wat pack are u from?" I asked
"RoseWood" he said. I looked around looking for a table that said the pack name when I found it to the left of the Ashwood pack.
"Ur to the left from Ashwood" I said
"Thank u, the name is Zack" he said
"Red" I said with a small smile
"ZACK?!" someone called
"Over here Drew" he waved him over
"I was looking for u, the party is about to start" Drew said
"Ok I'm coming, nice seeing u Red" Zack said and they walked off. I walked to our table that was rectangular and looked for my name. When I saw the seating arrangements, I didn't know they had so many people in line. Dylan and Avril where in the middle, I was sitting beside Avril due to the warrior trait, Tyler was next to Dylan bc that's the beta, Chris sat next to me, Alex sat next to Tyler, and The Dolan's sat next to each other. I took my seat while everyone had there own conversations going on. I glanced at my watch and saw it was 8 and noticed everyone was here but Avril and Dylan wasn't here so I mind linked them.
"Are u guys ok, it's 8"
"Ya were coming we got sidetracked"
"Ion wanna know, I was just checking"
"Thanks bro"
After that I saw Avril dressed in a black and red dress that hugged her figure tightly, her hair colored blonde hair straight, and some black converse. Dylan had a black suit, his hair slicked backed, and a red hankie, it was cute that they were matching. Once they sat down, Alpha Adam and Ash did a howl to get our attention.
"I would like to welcome all the packs that will be fighting with us against the Nightmare Pack, and the packs that have came to praise the moon goddess for matching Avril and Dylan. Before we start moving around, I would ask u all to raise ur classes of champagne and say the traditional saying after me" he said as everyone raised their glasses.
"Dear moon goddess, we thank u for all u have done. To the mating matching from putting the strongest woman in heat. We ask that u look over Avril and Dylan from good and worst, bringing peace on earth with them and their little ones. Thank u heavenly Goddess" He said. We all repeated it making Dylan and Avril drink there champagne first causing everyone to howl and clap. Afterwards we started moving around and talking to the other pack members. I stayed close to Avril and Dylan while they talked to other people until another packed showered up.
"Ahh Welcome BrooksBend's pack" Adam greated
"Thank u Adam, u must be Avril and Dylan" Kevin said
"Yes, and this is my Warrior Red" she stated
"Red" the bowed
"Alpha" I bowed back
"This is my son, Justin" he said pushing him towards us
"Justin" Avril said shaking his hand
"Avril, u look beautiful today" he said making Dylan's jaw clench
"Thank u, me and Dylan wanted to match" she said
"Awesome" Justin said not fazed
"Dylan, Alpha Kendrick wants to talk to u about the situation" Tyler said
"Alright, ill be right back babe stay with Red" Dylan said kissing her
"Ok, hurry back" she said
"Keep an eye on Justin"
"Alright"
"So Avril, how old are u?" Justin asked "23" she said
"Are u and him Married?" He asked
"Not yet, we have to sort out a situation before true commitment" she said
"Oh, AYE Red can I take Avril for a second?" Justin asked
"Yes a few minutes, and Avril stay where I can see u" I said
"Alright" she said and they walked off to a nearby bench. I watched his every move until the Dolan's popped up
"Yo Red, how's it going?" Grayson said giving me a dap
"Good, on Avril watch" I said
"Why?" Ethan asked
"Dylan doesn't trust Justin" I said
"I wouldn't either, he's known as the mate stealer" Grayson said
"He looks like one" I said
"Red help me, I think he's trying to drug me"
"Justin? Alright I'm coming and tell Dylan"
I walked over to Avril and took her drink smelling it, it was spiked with Wolfsbane
"Wolfsbane huh?" I asked
"Wat can I say? I'm trying to hit" he said licking his lips
"Well I think u should leave" I said grabbing him by the arm
"Aye back off, and ur just her bodyguard" he said
I'm nobody's bodyguard, I'm a warrior! I growled at him and let my wolf take over.
"I think u should leave pup" I said in a deep voice
"Or ur gonna have 4 wolves beat ur ass" Dylan said with Chris, Grayson, and Ethan on my side growling
"Wats going on here?" Kevin said
"Ur son is hitting on my girl and tried to drug her" Dylan said
"Justin..is this true?" Kevin asked
"No" he said
"Yes, he used Wolfsbane" Avril said
"Justin I can't believe u, call the limo and go home" Kevin said
"Ugh whatever" Justin said leaving
"I'm so srry" Kevin said bowing
"Its ok, just have fun" Dylan said rubbing his temple
"Maybe we should end the party, ur stressed" Avril said
"No I'm fine" Dylan said
"Aye, it's been a long night, y'all go upstairs and get ready for bed while me and the gang get everyone to leave" I said
"Thanks Red" they said leaving
Time to get over 900 packs out.

After an hour of telling people the party is over, we finally got everyone in hotels. Today was a good day, until the Justin thing but other then that it was ok. After I walked up the stairs I peeked in a few rooms to make sure everyone was ok, Alex was sleeping with someone, the Dolan's crashed on the floor, and Chris on the phone with someone I think named Ashley. I walked up to Avril and Dylan's room and knocked. I waited for 5 minutes and heard nothing so I listened harder and heard moaning so I walked away from the door. I got in my room and took a shower getting ready for bed when I heard screaming. I ran out of the room with only my sweatpants on and into the living room where everyone was looking at a deer head with a note on it. I picked up the note and read aloud
You got until the next full moon, do Wat we say and we won't take Avril.
