Avril's POV
I woke up not feeling myself today. Ive been luna for a few weeks now and its stressful, plus i feel like i have to look over my shoulder constantly because of Mason. I rolled over to yet again not see my mate beside me, he has been working all day and night which worries me because that is what Red is here for. I roll out of bed and make my way to the bathroom, i run the hot water for a second before stripping down and getting in. As the water releases some stress off me i play with the necklace Adam gave me thinking of the worlds he said to me.
"Avril, u have a strong pack with strong members, plus many more so u have nothing to worry about right now. I promise if something does happen or if they take u I will make sure we get u back less then a week. But ik Mason's every move and Wat he does to his "victims" so I want u to have this" Adam said giving me a a gold collar
"Aye Ik I'm a werewolf but a dog collar is a bit much" I said examining it
"No, it's a gold chocker since Ik ur a rocker and it special" he chuckled
"How" I said putting it on
"Well if anyone tries to drug u with wolfsbane then this will help unblock it so u can have easy access to ur mindlink, and I engraved ur name on it so I looks real like a necklace and just bc I care about u" he said smiling
"Aww that's so awesome! Thanks uncle Adam" I said giving him a huge bear hug.
"Love?" Dylan's mind link snapped me out of my daze and i had to remember what he asked me.
"Yes baby?" i replied
"U seem lost...sad at that. You have nothing to worry about, i will make sure he never gets his hands on u." he said making me at ease but i still felt like it was coming sooner or later, he is too slick and sneaky...hes my dad after all. I need to tell him so he knows this is much deeper than he thinks.
"can we talk? i need to tell you something in person" i asked worried
"come in my office after your shower" he replied making me sigh.
After my shower i make my way to our big walk in closet and try and find a descent outfit to break the news to him. I end up putting on ripped acid jeans, a black tank top, red flannel, and my black Jordan's. I walk to the bathroom and put my hair in a messy bun not caring what it looks like today. As i went to open the door Red and Kells were waiting for me scaring me slightly.
"Sorry A, didn't mean to scare u. You was taking awhile and he sent us to get you." Kells said rubbing the back of his neck looking down
"Its fine, Lets just get it over with" i said signing for the thousand time today. Once we got into his office his eyes lit up when he saw me causing my heart to skip a beat.
"Hey honey how are u doing? You ready to talk?" he said smiling but his smile was worried as well.
"Yes i said slowly, Red u can stand watch outside the door for me?" i asked sweetly
"Of course luna, ill be right out if u need me" he said as he closed the door behind him.
"Well, i guess ill be leaving a well" Kells says but before he could get up i pushed him back down with a little more force then i intended and he fell out the chair backwards.
"Damn girl! If you wanted me to stay you could of just said so" he said fixing himself
"Sorry kells. I just feel you both should sit down for this one." i said pacing back and forth with eyes watching my every move
"What is it babe?" my lovely mate asks causing tears to fall
"Mason...He is me and Kells father..." i said lost for words. Silence was all you heard in the office, nobody moved but Dylan coming to hold me close to him while my tears fall.
"Mason...is...our dad?...how-" Kells started before i cut him off
"He was the one who separated us when we was little. Now he is after me because i'm more powerful then he is and i'm not sure what to do." i said speechless while Dylan's hands hold me tighter.
"We need a new plan" My mate says causing me to look up at him
"what do u mean?" i asked confused
"To take him down we need to be one step ahead of him" Kells say
"Correct. I'm calling Adam right now to seek our next move, don't anyone move" Dylan said picking up the phone. After a few minutes Adam booms through the speaker in a panic
"WHATS WRONG.?! WE MUST ATTACK!"
"Wait wait wait, let's act like we have common sense right now" i said proudly
"Mason is me and A's dad so he has more motivation to take her now"Kells spoke up rubbing is temple stressfully. After a few moments of silence Adam finally began after a longing sigh.
"She has to go willingly" he said softly
"WHAT?! NO I REFUSE TO GIVE THAT BEAST MY MATE" Dylan roared. I could tell his wolf was coming out so i touched his face looking him deep in the eyes
"I'll do it..To save my pack and our allies. He won't expect me to come on my own." I said with a tear rolling down my face
"Plus, we can through him off track making us the ones who attack first." Said Red coming through the door
"But what about her safety? I can't protect her"Dylan said softly, u could tell he was on the verge of tears by the cracking in his voice.
"That's what Red is for" said Adam
"I'll take her as a peacemaker and trade her in for one of his, we can get the dirt on him once and for all" said Red holding on to my shoulder
"I don't like it, but we have to get her back within a week no later or less." Dylan said never taking his eyes off me
"You will all come after me once every little thing about them is discovered, and that's an order" i said sternly making everyone jump
"But love-" Dylan began
"No buts hun, I'll be fine. I've trained for this...plus i used to live on my own for years, i can handle my dad once again" i said with a small smile
"So it's settled...I'll send a note for a meeting spot an go from there. You and Red leave Monday" Dylan said hugging me tightly
"Your becoming a true Luna, you will become a great leader one day" Adam said over the speaker
"And i wouldn't asked for better sister that is" Kells said smiling. After the meeting with the whole pack everyone began training, even Dylan was busy most of the time we had left with each other. Just as soon as i was getting used to being wanted in a household or a new powering Luna that is i have to face my biggest fear that i don't even think I'm mentally or physically prepared for...my father.
