Man, Ciara's room was lit. Everybody was just chillin', vibing, talkin' like always. My head was on Ciaras lap while she was touching my hair, scrolling through the comments while Kamari, Ddot, and Notti was wildin' on live.
Naiya was reading out loud, instigating like she do.
"They said DD been laying om Ciara the whole time." Naiyah read, looking right at me with that goofy smirk.
I just sucked my teeth. "I cant lay on ma girl now?."
Ddot started rapping over a beat playing off someone's phone, and Zaza got up, hyping him up. The comments was eating it up. Everything was chill... until some dumb shit popped up in the chat.
> LuhTyler: Drop the addy, I wanna fight.
mugged the screen. This nigga acting like he ain't already get beat up.
And OF COURSE, Kamari, the messiest nigga, gon' read it out loud.
The room got quiet for a second. Then everybody started talking at once
"Nigga, don't get beat up through the phone." - I shook my head.
"Ain't nobody worried bout you, move around." - Naiya laughed.
"Tyler, go play in traffic." - Ddot said, scrolling like he was over it.
"Not this again..." - Zaza leaned over to Ciara.
I looked at Ciara. She saw it too, but she ain't react. Just kept scrolling like Tyler wasn't even in the chat.
That told me everything.
She really ain't on that no more. And I don't know why that made me smirk a little, but I kept it pushing.
THEN-BOOM.
The door flew open so fast we all jumped.
Ciara's mom stood there, arms crossed, face tight.
"Why is this room so loud?! Y'all in here acting like y'all ain't got no fucking sense!"
Here we go again with her bullshits.
I been tryna stay respectful 'cause it's Ciara's (also kamari nd naiyah) mom... but she been pissing me off lately. Ever since that fight with ciara and Maria, she been treating Ciara different.
Kamari whispered, "she on bs again"
Ciara sat there looking guilty. "Ma, we was just on live. Ain't nobody doin' nothin'."
Her mom wasn't tryna hear that.
"Live? You got the whole internet in my house? You must think you grown or sum."
She said mixing some words in Spanish
Then she snatched Ciara's phone so fast, the live ENDED right there.
Like... for what?!
The last thing everybody on IG saw was the screen shaking, Ciara looking STRESSED.
Ciara looked tight. Her mom wasn't done either.
"And look at this room! Mess everywhere. You sitting up in here instead of handling your responsibilities! Why can't you be like Mari-"
She ain't even finish the sentence before Ciara's whole face changed.
Here we go.
"MA," kamari snapped, "you really gotta stop comparing Ciara to Maria. Maria ain't yo kid-Ciara is. Ion know why you keep choosing somebody who meant sum to Ciara but betrayed her."
