Isabella's POV:

Today it was the second week of May, where today's Mother's Day, where James, Amber, and I were excited about celebrating this wonderful holiday with our Stepmother, who sees us as her true children, just like Sofia

James and Amber decided that as their gift, it'll be a rose-covered unicorn with a yellow ribbon bow around the neck

As for my gift for Mom, I made a beautiful painting of Mom, which captured Mom's beauty and her love of pink roses

We presented our gifts to Mom near the door where she loved them

"Thank you." She thanked us by leaning forward, her curled hands raised as we smiled

Before she stood up straighter, gesturing with her hands, fingers facing the floor

"I love them." She gestured to our gifts

Before she walked us before she placed kisses on our foreheads

James places his hands behind him as we look at James. "The unicorn was Amber's idea, but I picked all the pink roses." He explained, glancing at his twin sister, then at Mom

"And I decided that I'd paint you, surrounded by pink roses." I smiled

"Oh, they're beautiful." Mom chuckled before turning to look at our sister

Sofia looked at Mom with an uncertain expression as the pink rose she held fell a petal off

"Oh, Sofia, is that for me?" Mom asks, motioning her right hand in an offering motion

"Uh-huh," Sofia answered, holding the rose up

Mom grabbed the rose from Sofia and smelled its wonderful scent. "Thank you, honey." Mom accepted the rose

"It's lovely." Mom pulled Sofia into a hug before looking at her daughter and informing her with her hands on Sofia's shoulders, "Guess what, I invited James, Amber, and Isabella to join us on our picnic."

"You did?" Sofia asked, and was in shock

Mom stood up as Amber and I smiled with our hands lapped on top of each other on top of our gown, glancing at James, who spoke, "And instead of the village pond, we're going to 'June Berry Island.'" He motioned his right hand forwards, then motioned his clenched hands closer to his chest, then motioned downwards with his hands slightly outwards

"We are?" Sofia asked with her hands out in our direction, fingers facing down, even more shocked

James and I smiled, looking at Amber, who answered

"Oh, yes." Amber placed her right hand on her chest, smiling

Before leaning forward, motioning her right hand out, "Baileywick has arranged everything." She waves her right hand, outwards on the side, standing up more

"And I'm wearing my special boating tiara for the occasion." Amber motioned her boating tiara with a beautiful anchor at the center of the tiara

Amber smiled, leaning her right hand and looking at me where I spoke, "And I'm going to wear the boating necklace, and a berry-themed tiara to represent the island." I smiled

"I'm gonna get my fishing pole," James added as he smiled, looking at Sofia with his slightly raised right clenched hand

"And I'll bring my deck chair," Amber added before the three of us walked away towards our rooms to grab what we needed for the picnic

Since James was bringing his fishing pole, and Amber was bringing her deck chair, I decided I'd bring my sketchbook and pencils to draw the beauty of the island and capture special memories
