Isabella's POV:

It had been a few days since Amber had discovered a new star, where she now loves the stars and astronomy, but especially when the renowned artist Bruce Twigley had come to the palace and painted me and my siblings

Right now, I was with my siblings, minus Sofia, Mom, and Dad, enjoying ourselves outside as Baileywick was standing nearby, holding a pitcher of lemonade in his hands

He looked at James who he, Amber and I were sitting on the long blanket, holding our cups, "More lemonade, James?" He asked, holding the pitcher

"Thanks, Baileywick." James held the cup to let our castle steward pour and thanked him

Baileywick bent down and was pouring the lemonade when he looked at the cold breeze coming this way, as did we

We gasped as the breeze passed us, and Amber asked, "What's that?"

Suddenly, everything was icy blue where the lemonade that Baileywick had poured was frozen as well as they're was a cold breeze

"Huh?" James was confused about the frozen lemonade

"Oh! Where did all this frost come from?" Mom asked, rubbing her arms to keep herself warm

We looked at the ground, where everything was blue as well. "And why is it blue?" Baileywick asked

We continued looking at the ground. "I think it made sense, Baileywick," I said

When everyone looked at me in confusion, "What do you mean, Isa?" Dad asked

I looked at Dad and I answered, "Because of the frostiness of everywhere, the cold breeze, that's why it's blue, Daddy."

Amber continued to look at me when she said, "I want to go back inside."

She tried to stand up before she started screaming, stumbling, then grunted when she fell down while we were worried about her

"Amber..." Dad stood up from his chair, tried to reach Amber. "Whoa..." He looked at the blanket before he slipped

"Oh!" Mom watched Dad fall back down in his chair, as did James, Baileywick, and I.

"This frost is slippery." Dad looked at the ground with his hands on the armrests

Baileywick tried to walk towards the torch as he looked at Daddy, "Not to worry." He reassured Dad

"I'll melt a path back to the castle." Baileywick grabbed the torch from its stand with his left hand, looking at the ground

Baileywick bent down to the ground, placing the torch on the ground, hoping that it would melt

But to his shock, the fire was put out and was now frozen

Baileywick crouched down, looking at the frozen torch. "That's odd." He says, looking at the blanket,

Before Baileywick hit the frozen torch on the blanket, where smaller bits of ice were shown,

"The frost won't melt," Baileywick says

As Daddy looked up, where the cold air had blown, "And it's spreading across the kingdom." Dad stared with his eyebrows furrowed

A few minutes had passed and we slowly stood up and began walking back inside while trying not to fall down

"Steady now. We're almost there..." Dad says as we're slowly walking up the slippery hill

Suddenly, we heard a man's voice, "Sire!" It was a blond-haired soldier who ran over the hill

"Whoa!" The blonde-haired soldier slipped down the slippery, frosty hill

He accidentally slipped into Dad as we looked at Dad and the guard who was falling

"Rollie!" Mom yells, seeing that Dad and the soldier were on the ground

Dad bent down and looked at the guard, who looked at Dad and asked, "Yes?"

"Apologies, Your Majesty." The soldier apologizes, sitting up as Dad positions himself better.

"The kingdom is frozen for miles around." The soldier  informed Dad, standing up, as Dad managed to stand up

"Horses and carts are sliding off the roads." The soldier walked slowly towards Dad as Dad stood up with his left foot out, slightly leaning forward with his hands raised, before the soldier pointed his right index finger to the location

"People are afraid to leave their homes." The soldier continued, placing his arms down

Just when Daddy was about to speak, he and the soldier gasped, began slipping, and grunted, falling down again

Dad sat up as we looked at him. "This is terrible." Dad places his left hand on his left thigh

We looked at Mom, who suggestively raises her hands, "There must be some way to melt this ice." She says, leaning forward, motioning with her hands downwards

Soon after, we slowly tried to walk away from the slippery hill with Baileywick helping Amber, and James was helping me as I could

We were walking towards the frozen stairs when suddenly, Amber saw Crackle flying nearby above us

"Is that Crackle?" Amber asked, pointing to the dragon

Where Amber was pointing, it was Crackle who was using her fire to melt the frost

"Yeah, and she's melting all the frost," James answered as Crackle was melting the frost near us

Then Sofia was above us, riding on Minimus, who looked at us

"Mom? Dad? I thought you were in the castle." Sofia asked with her left hand out

Sofia motioned for Minimus to land as Amber walked towards Sofia

"That's where we thought you were," Amber stated, pointing at her as I nodded

"Do you think that dragon can stop the frost before it covers the entire kingdom?" Dad asked, left-handed, pointing at Crackle, who was melting the frost on the trees, the lowered his left hand

"She sure can." Sofia answered, motioning her left hand out before placing her left hand on the reins, "I'll be right back." She added

Before we watched Sofia, who rode on Minimus, fly towards Crackle

We looked at Dad, who suggested, "How about we play a friendly game of 'Blazing Badminton'?"

Amber, James, and I looked at each other with smiles, as it sounded fun

"You're on, Dad!" Amber, James, and I smiled in unison

Today it was a frosty sunny day as we smiled in relief that Crackle had saved the day from the frost being spread throughout the kingdom
