Alright, folks, let's start off with the terms "psychotic" and "psychopathic". There is, as the title of this chapter indicates, a difference between a psychotic person and a psychopathic person. This should be clear in itself, but a lot of writers tend to fuck that up, so let me explain:
Psychotic people may experience delusional beliefs or may experience hallucination. Someone who is psychotic has a severely warped perception of reality due to an underlying disorder. Just because the voice in their head told them to, they aren't likely to go around shooting people.
A psychopathic person is something else entirely.
