And the last thing of all: trigger warnings. Triggers are things that set people off--someone doesn't necessarily have to have a mental illness to be triggered, but I thought I'd add it for your sake and the sake of your followers.
Trigger warnings are warnings that let people know before they read whatever you've written if it's going to trigger them. It helps people prepare themselves. Let me give you a general idea of Trigger Warnings:
TW: Torture mention.
TW: Depression/Anxiety/Some other mental illness.
TW: Racism.
TW: Swearing.
TW: Abuse.
Tw: Violence.
And for God's sake, remember to put these at the top of the page or in the tags. It takes pretty much 5 seconds, it isn't like I'm asking you to reach for the fucking stars, it's easy and helpful. Do it.
