The machine lunged at TonTon only to be forced back by a wall of fire. This only slowed it, as it shortly braced the flames and head butted TonTon. He fell back and the machine almost jumped upon him but TonTon blasted him with ice and the machine came tumbling back. TonTon used his magic and made earth spikes pummel the machine, but it still managed to recover and strike a damaging blow to TonTon's side.

"Gah! Isn't there an Off button on you somewhere?!" TonTon said jokingly while evading the machines other attacks.

The machine appeared to not have any emotion not understanding of TonTon's words. It's only function was to kill. With its advanced speed, it ran towards TonTon, grazing him slightly with its pointy metallic fingers. TonTon blew a strong wind through its gears and it stopped abruptly. He had thought he had somehow jammed its gears and stopped the machine, but after a moment it started to shift again, and was back to attacking.

"I don't understand, no element is working on him at all." TonTon said to himself confused.

The machine wheeled around and charged TonTon from the back this time. He fell with a hard Thud and was starting to tear from the pain. He didn't understand what the lesson was for. He didn't understand how to beat this foe. He only had one thought in his mind left as he was back in the same predicament in the first place.

"Was it all in vain?" He thought in his head.

There was a long moment of silence. It seemed the machine froze in place. TonTon was confused, but quickly got on his feet and start to walk around the machine. He examined how it seemed to be moving, but it appeared to be frozen so heavily with an invisible ice. Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard around TonTon.

"Don't be afraid to try new things." Puppy said before everything started to return from their icy state.

The machine turned once more and formed its hands into a drill. Before TonTon could react, he blasted through his side with ease. TonTon held his side tightly, but his pure white blood was clearly pouring from his wound.

The machine charged towards him once more, and TonTon finally had a plan for beating this enemy. He first blasted the machine with ice, slowing its charge. He then blew wind into its gears, slowing the machine more effectively. After that, he shot rocks at the machine, making some pebbles get caught inside its mainframe. Finally, he scorched the machine's wires with fire. The machine was completely immobilized by the time it had reached TonTon. TonTon placed his hand on the machine's head and focused.

He gathered his magic and pulled an amazing move! He had combined all of the elements he learned into one single blast. It shot through the machine in an instant, and the machine fell to the ground for the last time. TonTon began to escape the cave system, barely making it out because of his injuries. He returned to the main city and reached the commons before falling to his knees. Mayor Nemo ran up to him.

"Oh Lord Jeebus, you're hurt!" The old fish exclaimed.

"Nick .  .  . I'd suggest you fill in that cave. It's quite dangerous." TonTon said.

"I can see that, you're inches away from death! Come, let's take you to the hospital." Mayor Nemo said as he lifted TonTon up and carried him to the hospital.

Within a few days, he recovered and was his old self again. TonTon was now taking the rest of the week to relax and ponder on what he had learned. Meanwhile, at Mayor Nemo's home, he was looking at himself in the mirror and uttered a single sentence.

"It has to be done." The Mayor said to himself.
