TonTon glanced at his surroundings for a brief moment. He scanned around, and then finally found his target. After he had found the bottom of the throat, he silently conjured a flame beneath his feet, propelling him upwards. He noticed from the lack of movement that Rainy had fallen asleep.

TonTon slowly but surely burst his way up into the throat and began to climb. Immediately, he became disgusted.

"Oh this spawns an even greater hatred for these cannibals." TonTon mumbled as he climbed up further.

About half way, he sensed movement. Rainy's eyes flicked open and had a feeling similar to dry swallowing a pill. TonTon noticed quickly and played dead. Rainy waited for a few seconds, and then drifted back to sleep. TonTon then hurried a bit and managed to climb to the mouth.

However, in his rush, Rainy's ears jerked up and she lifted her head. TonTon immediately went limp and laid on her tongue, doing his best not to make skin contact. Rainy sleepily yawned and TonTon used it to his advantage as he leapt out of her mouth. Rainy gasped loudly and then spoke with a snarl on her face.

"OH YOU LITTLE!" Rainy yelled.

"HAHA!" TonTon yelled back triumphantly.

"Touché TonTon." Rainy said, clapping mockingly.

"Oh good. You're back to normal." TonTon said as he noticed Rainy's head wasn't that of a wolf's anymore.

"Indeed I have, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to eat you again." Rainy said with a complete devilish look.

"Heh, I'd like to see you try." Boasted TonTon, with a plan in mind.

Rainy then proceeded to slowly walk towards TonTon. As she got very close, she pointed at her hoodie.

"See all these blood stains? Prepare to be part of the collection." Rainy taunted maliciously.

"Oh please, you don't scare me." TonTon snapped back in an instant.

"Don't I?" Rainy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Not not really. To me, you're just a poor little girl who has lost their way. And I'll set you right again." TonTon said intently.

"THATS IT!" Rainy yelled. She then quickly reached into her hoodie pocket and pulled out a makeshift dagger, made with a huge, sacred wolf tooth.

"And what are you gonna do with that? Stab me?" TonTon said, glaring at her now.

"One stab with this, and you're dead meat!" Rainy shouted as she raised the dagger high over TonTon's head and closed her eyes.

TonTon then sprung his plan. He immediately charged her and wrapped his arms around her. In other words, he was hugging her.

"SPECIAL MOVE: CARING EMBRACE!" TonTon yelled like a moron.

Rainy stood in cold shock. Her fingers twitched and her wolf tooth dagger slipped out of her hand. It clanged to the rocky floor.

"I've noticed. This probably has been something you've done your whole life. I always wondered, where are your parents, your friends? To me it seems like a tragedy happened, and this is the result. So now I only ask this one question. Will you be my friend?" TonTon said with a complete straight face, looking right into Rainy's eyes. Little tears formed in hers, and she began to speak again.

"Ive only had one friend in my life, and I was forced to eat her on a camping trip when we were lost for days . . . sure. We can be fr-friends... and Ill TRY not to eat you." She said with a meek smile.

"I appreciate your effort." TonTon said with a smile.

"I've been a cannibal for so long. I've lived a life off of flesh." Rainy said again, in disbelief that she could change.

"But you weren't at one point. That means it isn't impossible to change." TonTon reminded.

"Possible but not likely." Rainy mumbled.

"Then how about this, try zombie flesh." TonTon said, reaching into his hoodie pockets.

TonTon handed Rainy a few pieces of zombie flesh and she began to eat some. After a few bites she gained a bit of a shocked expression.

"It'll work as a substitute." She said with her mouth full.

"That's good. Say, do you wanna tag along with me till I find my way home or do you think you can hold your own in terms of flesh harvesting?" TonTon asked.

"Eh Ill tag along with my new fr-friend. For now." Rainy said with a small smile.

"Nice! Now let's get out of here!" TonTon exclaimed.

He then focused his concentration and terraformed a stair case of earth going through the rock and up towards the surface.

"Impressive." Rainy commented as she scurried up the staircase, with TonTon following shortly behind.

Rainy poked her head out into the surface and noticed it was night and she was in a forest with a dirt path not too far ahead.

"You know the way to Nemo city, correct?" She asked.

"I only know that once the dirt roads start becoming stone, we're very close." TonTon replied.

"Alright then, let's move out." Rainy commanded as she stepped out of the staircase. The two both started walking slowly and cautiously.

"Oh dear. Night time." TonTon said in slight fear.

"What's the matter, scared of the dark?" Rainy taunted.

"No, mobs spawn around these parts." TonTon said, looking around intently.

"Well c'mon, no need to be a coward Carrot Boy. You know the way back to Nemo city.. right?" Rainy asked.

"Sorta." Responded TonTon.

Rainy started to roll her eyes, until a rustling was heard from beyond and zombies appeared from behind trees.

"Uh oh." TonTon said as he braced himself for a fight.

"Fresh flesh!" Rainy yelled in delight as she swiftly jumped one and clawed it into the ground.

More and more zombies began to appear from the sound of their fallen comrade and started to form a crowd. TonTon tried blasting a few, but there were much to many. Rainy scanned the area and found a safer and emptier spot.

"Come on this way!" She yelled signaling TonTon to follow her past the many trees.

As TonTon followed her, a stone road caught his eye.

"That's a road! It can lead us to the city!" TonTon cried in relief as he began to follow it.

"It better." Rainy said.

The road ran on for a bit until it broke into a commons with many houses all around. There was a bit of a medieval feel to them, however something wasn't quite right. The houses were empty, no light or noise coming from any of them. Even under the assumption of people sleeping, it was an eery quiet.

"Wow, its been years since Ive been to Nemo city, it sure has gotten dead since then huh?" Rainy said, gazing around.

"No, this isn't it." TonTon mumbled.

"Well where the heck are we then?!" Rainy cried.

"I'm not sure. It's all a bit unfamiliar to me." TonTon said, thinking hard on his whereabouts.

"Well I hate to abandon you so early on, but I've got to try this new zombie thing. Maybe our paths will cross again." Rainy said smiling. TonTon waved her goodbye and she took off into the woods.

TonTon smiled, but saw a small light that caught his eye. One house near the center of town, a mansion, had lights on. He gazed at the light and began to trek towards it.
