Chapter 16: Phase Four

"Welcome to Phase 4, you idiots." Karla and Ty said in complete unison.

When the benders first heard the voices, they were still in shock with all that was going on. But it didn't take long for reality to smack them all across their faces.

Jessica was the first to react, and by react, she essentially chucked a fireball at the location of the voices. Sadly her fit of anger didn't do much. The fireball was instantly put out by a random BITD fire bender.

"Just accept it, there is no escape for you all." Ty said, sounding overly cocky.

"I beg to differ with that." Evanz said, a smirk on him face.

Before anyone from the BITD could react to his words, a strong gust of wind, whipped the dust around, blurring the vision of literally everyone.

Evanz quickly took this time to grab hold of the still very angry Jessica. He also shouted to the others that they better start running. Richelle and Rage, using their earth bending helped the other facility benders out of the cloud of dust.

By the time the cloud was blown away by Alex's air bending, all the facility benders were long gone.

Ty and Karla took this time to start sprinting towards the facility, but they were quickly stopped by Alex.

"Hold on you two." Alex said.

"We're letting them get away!" Ty shouted in a whining sort of matter.

"No. That's what we want them to think. Karla. Ty. I think this plan needs a Phase 5."

Upon hearing the word "Phase" Ty and Karla were sold at whatever Alex had planned.

"I may have done a few things while at the facility." Alex explained, an evil smile plastered on his face. "So, let's head back to the base, and watch as the final phase is put into action."

As the three were leaving with the many other BITD benders in tow, Alex told the three earth benders to stay behind and get the benders trapped in the air dojo. The benders nodded and made their way into the facility.

While this was all going down, the five students were making their way to the BITD base, being as stealthy as they physically could.

"Hey! Are you even leading us in the right direction?!" Sadie, whisper-shouted to Charlie, who was leading the others through the forest.

"Yes?" Charlie replied, not sounding too confident.

Lily happened to notice the lack of confidence, so she made her way to leading the group to the base. Not even two minutes later of her leading the group, the good old boat base was in sight.

"Let's go-" Lily shouted, but was stopped by Mikey.

"Hold on. Look." Mikey said, while pointing to Alex, Ty, and Karla, along with the other BITD benders. "We have to wait for them to lower their guard because I don't know if you can see this, but we are outnumbered."

Lily sighed in annoyance. Christine on the other hand sighed in relief, because she wasn't too excited to break into the enemy base.

"How do you think our trainers are doing?" Christine asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"You think we're safe?" Fluke asked, panting like crazy.

"I hope so.." Richelle responded, panting as well.

"We'll go check." Fred said, volunteering the other old trainers to go as well.

So the three of them wandered down the halls of the facility, and once they were out of sight, the benders began to think that they were actually okay.
