Chapter 11: Betrayed?

*Jessica's Flashback*

"You can stop this torture on everyone else, and yourself. If, you join us."

I looked over to where I knew there was a camera, recording my every movement. I sighed, not wanting any of them to be here any longer. I knew Evanz wasn't going to switch sides, and none of us wanted to. But I'm sure none of them will be too upset if I switched sides, to hopefully help out in the long run..

"Sure.." I replied.

"No. You listen to me. You betrayed us. You played us like we were nothing but pawns. I want you out of here and I don't want to see you back." Evanz said to me, his voice cold and emotionless.

I didn't get a chance to respond since he air bended me away from the facility. I ran away from there, nearly in tears. But they weren't really sad tears... no rather they were angry tears. The anger wasn't towards them though, it was towards someone else.

*3rd Person PoV (Jessica's/???'s Location)*

"Ahh, Jessica glad to see you're back in one piece." A man said, smirking at Jessica.

"I did what you told me!! Why did you push the button!?!?" Jessica quickly retorted, taking a step towards the man.

"Too close." He said, causing Jessica to obediently step back. "Good. Now I recall telling you to go there and find out secrets. Not get caught by Rage. Then I told you to get out of there but you didn't."

"I couldn't! I-"

"I don't want to hear your excuses. Although.. I am glad you got caught, I can see that their hatred towards you is eating away at you."

"Shut UP!! They would never hate me.... Not after they hear what you did!"

"Oh.. But they won't. You know what'll happen if you don't listen or if you tell them what's going on."

"You already nearly killed Morgan! You-"

"I can easily kill them all. And remember that because here's your next mission, this time don't fail."

*3rd Person PoV (Facility)*

Soon Morgan woke up from her electrocution. Her first sight was a worried Richelle.

"Uuuhh... What happened? Why am I on the floor?" Morgan asked, her voice sounding tired.

"I'm not sure. Evanz and Rage told me that they were waiting for you to wake up. They said something about breaking the bad news to everyone." Richelle replied, helping her friend off the floor.

"Bad news about what?" Morgan quickly asked, after she was sort of standing.

"They didn't tell me. I just overheard something about Jessica.."

Just mentioning her name, Morgan darted off to find Evanz and Rage to see what they knew. Because by the sounds of it they know her confirmed state. Richelle watched as her friend stumbled around, and went to go tell the others that Morgan was awake and doing pretty good.

"EVANZ!! RAGE!!!" Morgan shouted, bursting into Rage's room, after she saw Evanz' was empty.

"Morgan! You're awake!!" Rage said, happiness filling his voice.

"What's this bad news Richelle mentioned? And what do you two know about Jessica!?" Morgan questioned.

The two of them went silent for a brief moment.

"How about we tell you, along with everyone else at a meeting." Evanz said, sounding like he has been drained of emotion.

Morgan nodded, and the three of them went to the Mess Hall to see that the other three had already gathered there.
