King gripped his hair, staring at me intensely. "You're saying... You were in City Z when the comet closed in?!" he screamed.

"Yea, it kinda just came out of nowhere," I said. "They didn't bother to alert the public until 30 minutes before impact. Isn't that insane?"

"30 MINUTES?!" he damn near fainted. "WHY WERE YOU IN CITY Z?!"

I rubbed my chin, "I was hanging out with my new friend. We bought manga together and went to his place."

"The blond one or the bald one?" he asked.

"The bald one," I replied.

"Ah, I see," he hummed. "Well, I guess you're alive so... I'll stop freaking out. You could have at least called me when you thought you were gonna be crushed by a comet."

I nodded, "Very true. I'll try my best to remember buddy King when I'm about to die."

"Good. What manga did you buy?" he changed the subject. Glad he's stopped freaking out.

I pointed to my bookshelf full of One Piece. "I got some to add to my collection," I said.

"It doesn't look like your collection got bigger, though. Where are they?" he commented.

"I left them at his place, so I'd have an excuse to go back," I answered.

"...His place didn't get smashed by the fragments?" King questioned.

We stared at each other for a second before I jumped off the couch. I slowly backed up towards the glass sliding door, opening it while still facing away from it. King watched silently as I backflipped off the balcony. I used a couple other balconies to slow my fall before I reached the ground.

King stuck his head over my balcony, yelling, "I'm staying here!" I gave him a thumbs up over my shoulder as I ran down to the next block to find a fucked-up building from a previous battle of mine. Using a random slab of concrete, I lifted myself into the air and began flying towards City Z. I never actually checked in on what didn't get damaged. I haven't even watched the news to see the updates.

"I'm such an idiot," I sighed to myself.

Upon closing in on Saitama's apartment, I noticed a small crowd forming maybe a mile from his place. I floated over to a tall building, trying to see what was up. Saitama was standing in the middle of the crowd. They were all chanting about how he should 'Give it up'. Whatever that means. I'm assuming they're mad about the city getting smashed. Judging by the fact that Tank Top Tiger and Tank Top Black Hole are leading the chant, they probably started it.

Those two idiots don't know what's good for them. Saitama punched Tiger when they approached him. Thankfully, he didn't explode into pieces like the comet. The baldy crushed Black Hole's hand when he lunged at him. This was followed by Saitama yelling at the crowd that he couldn't give a rat's ass about anything they said because he's gonna be a hero because he wants to.

Genos showed up and picked Saitama up, but I stayed behind. As soon as the crowd dispersed, I floated down to where Tank Top Tiger and Tank Top Black Hole were recuperating. I jumped off my concrete slab and walked up behind the two as they conversed.

"I think my hand's broken," Black Hole whined.

Tiger placed a hand on his shoulder in concern, "It's ok, he caught us by surprise this time. If we just-"

"If you just what?" I asked.

They spun around, their eyes wide once they registered that it was me. "We were just... discussing how to get rid of the guy that ruined the city!" Black Hole explained.
