Thank you, and enjoyThe upperclassmen of the drumline have been hiding something dark and mysterious all along. While the rest of the marching band march across the field with horns while playing, the frontline would play the keyboard percussion instruments while conspiring to destroy their enemies.
In the frontline, there were five marimbas (which make a donk donk noise), one xylophone(dink dink), five vibes (dong dong), one bell kit (ding ding), two synths, two people on rack, and one electric timpani (bong bong)
The upperclassmen made up the majority of the marimba and vibes section, and the lowerclassmen scavenged for the rest.
Band camp consisted of about five days of hardcore 9am to 9pm practicing of show music, including lunch and dinner breaks.
On the group's Facebook webpage, the section lead, Ally posted the theme days, Monday was hat day, Tuesday was swag day, Wednesday was wear pink day, Thursday was the blood moon day, and Friday was America day.
Amherst, the freshman timpanist texted vibraphone 1, Liz asking about blood-moon day.
"What is blood moon day?"
"The harvest moon you know? It's a full moon but orange."
"How am I supposed to dress for that?"
"Idk lol Ikr"
"Ok"
During practice, Yam-Yam, one of the synth players, a sophomore, noticed Sarah, marimba two, give an uncertain glance to section lead, Ally."The batterie is taking the west on the blood moon,"
"We'll just deal with it later."
Amherst rose an eyebrow to both Tova and Liz, who were both sophomores. They both glanced over to Sarah and Ally trying to figure out what just happened. The rest of the marimbas took note of this and continued to practice.
The sophomore vibe players, Emma and Carly, didn't seem to hear anything. For Tova was a forte away from breaking the xylophone.
If the batterie is taking the west we have to trust them enough to take the east... although it wouldn't hurt to have a scout watching them... Ally's thoughts consumed her for a moment before noticing the metronomes loud ticks, as Ryan was demanding the groups attention to begin playing. Tova stopped, everyone waited for instruction.
"Alright let's do what we always do." He said, his tenor voice filling the silence the students left for him.
And they did.
