(Dipper's POV)
I see the shocked expression on his face.
"STANFORD!!!!! My arch-nemesis!?!"
"No, actually, the Stan you know is Stanley. The Author is Stanford. Stanly stole Stanford's name and faked his death with a car crash."
"Ooookkkkaaaayyyy, then."
"Yeah, I know. It's a big shocker."
"Well; I DON'T CARE IF THE AUTHOR OF THE JOURNALS IS YOUR GREAT-UNCLE OR IF HE IS YOUR, UH, GRANDFATHER!!!!! ALL I WANT IS MY MABEL!!!!! YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME!!!!!"
Man, he wants Mabel. Real badly.
"You have done that yourself."
"You will not take her from me!"
"Your anger and lust for power have already done that. You have allowed the knowledge of the journals to twist your mind. Until now,... until now you have became the very thing it told you not.
"Don't lecture me Dipper, I see through the lies of what you have bestowed upon Mabel and everyone. I do not fear myself as you do. I will bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to Gravity Falls!"
"You have destroyed what you said you would bring."
"Don't make me destroy YOU."
"Gideon, my allegiance is to Gravity Falls, to democracy!"
"If you are truly blinded by what you have learned. Then you are my enemy."
"Only you would deal in absolutes. I will do what I must."
I get into my defensive stance.
"You will try."
Gideon then does a backflip over the sinkhole and he begins to unload powerful strikes upon me.
