starr immediately gasped, eyes wide as she practically bounced in her seat. "oh my god, oh my god, oh my god—i cannot believe i'm here right now. alex, you don't understand, i listen to this podcast religiously. like, every single week." she turned to mason, shaking his arm. "baby do you understand how iconic this is? this is history. she said the thing! she said the thing she always says," starr squeals as she fangirls.

mason chuckled, shaking his head. "nah, she's been talking about this non-stop since you asked us to come on. she literally made us listen to episodes on the plane. i swear i could recite the intro in my sleep."

alex laughed. "i love this energy. okay, before we dive into the madness, let's just vibe for a second. i haven't known you guys for long but i can tell you shit talk a lot, especially considering everything you've been through in the past year."

mason grins as he stares at starr, "would we even really be here if we weren't?"

alex laughs before carrying on, "so i need to know—who is the bigger shit-talker in your relationship?"

starr immediately pointed at mason. "him. easy. no hesitation."

mason scoffed. "nah, you talk more shit, you just do it behind the scenes. i do it strategically."

alex cackled. "okay so you're saying starr is a silent assassin?"

"EXACTLY," mason said, snapping his fingers. "she'll sit there looking all innocent, but the second the door closes, she's got a whole monologue ready."

starr crossed her arms. "first of all, i only talk shit when it's deserved. second of all, why are you exposing me?"

alex shook her head, laughing. "no, i love this. you two are literally the exact same on and off-screen. the energy is unreal."

starr grinned. "see, this is why i love this podcast mason. no fake shit. just real conversations."

alex smirked. "well, speaking of real conversations... let's get into the elephant in the room. because the internet? lost its shit when the two of you debuted as a couple six months ago at your movie premiere, which by the way, i saw it a couple days after the premiere and it was amazing. congratulations, both of you,"

starr and mason chuckle before nodding, "thank you so much, we hold that one close to our hearts because it's where we met." starr beams a smile.

"oh my gosh it is! i remember first seeing the cast on deadline, i was super excited to see your guys dynamic on screen, and my god was it amazing." alex remembers, nodding her head along. "so i need to ask about regretting you, like, how did you guys meet, and what were your first impressions on each other?"

starr immediately begins talking, and mason just lets her, wanting to admire her looks, "oh my god, i hated him" she laughs with alex.

"nooo, what?! why!" alex asks, still laughing.

"lets just say i was an absolute asshole-" mason starts, attempting to save himself before starr yaps on about how much he got on her nerves, but she cuts him off.
