The rest of the quarter was going pretty smoothly and Stella had made a few friends besides Jin and Adonia, but most of the time she was just following Adonia around.
These days though she was starting to get a bit more attention from the students because since the first day her fire was improving exponentially. Some people even started to call her a prodigy or that she would be the youngest Star ever known, some started saying that she was using some technology to fake it. The shining and meditation professor was even more impressed by her feat. What was even more surprising about her was that she was a Komorinian, there was no doubt about that, you only had to look at her blue eyes. But she was Komorinian with fire, and that alone was some kind of miracle.
Was she really just so great in her morals that she could transcend the seeming curse upon her origins?

- Today, class, we're going to talk about greatness and being good. It is one of the biggest themes ever in Stellaro because it is something fundamental in the way our magic works. Firstly, I'll ask you, what is being "good" or "great"? Asked the philosophy teacher.
For a moment after the question the class stayed silent and still. Everybody talked about the Great, Good or Stars but nobody ever really tried to break down what it really meant to be other than having different intensity of fire power.
A little later Adonia raised her hand and the teacher interrogated her.
- Well, to me being good is something that's carved within yourself. It is either you are good or not, then you're bad. If you're neutral you can get a chance to try being good but maybe you won't be able to.
- It is interesting the way you describe being good or bad, Adonia. It seems like you're talking about some cage you're trapped in and can never really get out of. You describe it like you could only reach in between the bars of the cage but can never fully get out. But also you're not really describing what it is, you're more describing how it works, I'd say, in the way it shows in our magic. Well, does anyone else have an idea on what it is to be good? Yes, Stella?
- To me, being good or great is something everyone can achieve to be, there is no limit to which some people can't get better. Even if someone has little to no light it doesn't mean they don't get the chance to be a good person. I think the power we have is only projecting some of the goodness in us and some people might be better at expressing it than others like the Stars. I think being good is something a bit complicated, it's kind of up to everyone's own view. To me it fundamentally comes from sincerity, honesty, and being considerate of other people.
Chatter in the classroom became louder and louder during Stella's speech. Her answer was taken as some sort of relief to the "Bads" and especially to the Komorinian who probably would never get fire power.
- I'm impressed by your answer Stella. People think that fire is the ultimate representative of our internal goodness, but it might not be, who knows really. Does anyone else have a meaning for being good?

After a bit more students tried to answer the question, it was the end of the hour, and the teacher came to a conclusion.
- We should all be aware of our morals, not others. We still don't know what exactly is being great or bad. But whatever you think it is, I think you should stand by it. Do not assume someone is or isn't though, based on what people say or based on what they may show. Our power might as well just be an illusion of what we truly are inside. Alright class, you are dismissed, have a good day.
Stella was about to join Adonia and Loria when the teacher interrupted her.
- Hey, Stella, I wanted to talk to you more privately because your thinking is really advanced for someone your age. After all, maybe it is because you are a Komorinian with fire power so you can stand for your camarades that can be persecuted because of their hereditary lack of power and that gives you strength and courage to speak out. I find you very outstanding and admire your non-chalantness speaking while also caring about everyone. I think if your goal is to become a Star then you will soon enough be. I just wanted to tell you my support and that you should continue this way, but maybe you don't even need it.
By this time everyone had already left the room for a while and Stella could hear shouts outside.
- Thank you so much mister, it's very kind of you. Stella was kind of touched by Mr. Lamak's speech for her. I really appreciate it and I will always try my best to be good, whatever it means.
- No problem, I appreciate seeing someone having a different view of things. Have a great day!
- Goodbye. She answered as she walked out the door.
