Chapiter IV

As she got out of the classroom, she saw Loria sitting leaned on the wall with a red mark on her cheek and Adonia in front of her with a bunch of other students surrounding them. Firstly she didn't really understand what was going on. Was Adonia hurt too? Did Loria start to fight with Adonia for some reason? Without really thinking about it she slipped through the crowd to try to reach them. It seemed like Adonia was walking closer to Loria too. She was concerned about both of them.

- Are you okay, Loria? She asked as she crouched next to her.

- Oh, Stella. Come, we need to talk. As Adonia was talking, she took Stella's hand and went away from the crowd.

- What was going on, Adonia? Why was Loria injured and a crowd gathered around you two? Asked Stella as they got further away from the crowd.

- I don't know, we were walking out of the class and suddenly Loria was mad and started to push me. I don't know why she did it. I thought maybe she was just playing around, you know? But then she also started to call me names, she talked badly about my parents, too. I think maybe she was mad that I have fire and she doesn't. But I couldn't just let her talk bad about my family, so I slapped her and she tumbled on the floor. She was also saying that what you were saying was just bullshit and that you were looking down on other Komorinians because you had power.

- What? No! Why would she think that? Maybe we need to talk to her, you know? To try to understand better why this happened? I don't see Loria acting violently towards anyone just like that, maybe there was a misunderstanding. said Stella while they were stopping next to the school door.

- No, let's not go back there. She might be faking a story to the others where we are the bad guys. If she did, it wouldn't surprise me, she's Bad.

- Hey! Don't say that just because she doesn't have fire, she's just Komorinian. And I'm sure she wouldn't create a fake story just to annoy us Adonia! She isn't like that.

- Well, maybe you just haven't seen the real her. Answered firmly Adonia. She continued in a lighter tone. I'm going, Stella, we have homework and all, bye. Then, she left.

Stella was left there alone. She hesitated to go back to Loria for some time but then she decided to go see her because she needed to know why Loria suddenly attacked Adonia. As she walked back to their classroom she saw some people leaving. When she got there, there was already nobody left, it was too late for her to talk with Loria. She'll have to wait until the next day.

The first thing that Stella wanted to do when she arrived at the school hall the next day was to talk to Loria but it happened that she wasn't there yet, so she was left alone again because Adonia was not there yet either. Until Yuro, one of their classmates, came to her.

- Have you heard about what happened yesterday, Stella?

- Yeah, it's pretty weird, isn't it? I didn't think Loria would attack Adonia like that.

- What do you mean? Adonia started harassing Loria because she was agreeing with the fact that some people do not have fire but it doesn't mean that they're bad.

- What? Asked Stella, very intrigued.
- Well, they were talking about what you said and Loria was pretty much just agreeing and Adonia started to get violent, slapped and pushed her.

- No, I think Loria might've lied to you because Adonia told me exactly what happened and it wasn't that.

- No Stella, I saw it with my own eyes.

- You might be lying, or you heard wrong and when Loria explained it to you, you convinced yourself it was what you heard. Adonia has been my friend since childhood, I trust that she wouldn't do that. She told me exactly what had happened.

Right then, Adonia entered the school and Stella went straight to her.

- I think you might be right, Adonia. I think Loria has started rumors where you were the bad guy.

- You see, it would've been useless if we talked to her yesterday. She already convinced everyone about what I didn't do. It's so easy for a helpless Komorinian to be pitiful and for someone with fire like me to be targeted as a bully. Said Adonia with kind of a pout.

Then the bells rang for the start of class.

As they got out of class for lunch everyone seemed to be staring at Adonia and Stella.

- Hey, what did you guys do for everyone to look at you like that? Asked Jin.

- Yesterday I slapped Loria because she was making fun of Stella's speech and she was insulting my parents. Now she's creating a different story where she's the victim.

- Wow she's evil, what more can someone Bad can do to be honest.

- YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE STELLA! Yelled a guy from their class.

Stella looked down and started to feel somehow guilty of something.

- Whoa, and what was that about? questioned Jin.

- Well, that, I'm not sure. Maybe because of her speech yesterday in philosophy? Or maybe because Loria also talked shit about Stella.

- Hey, what should we do? I'm really not feeling good about this. We have to talk to Loria. Requested Stella as she was fidgeting with her fingers.

- Okay, then, I'm gonna talk to her later. Sluggishly replied Adonia.
