Thank the Moon goddess above for Joseph has finally found his mate. I was beginning to seriously doubt his chances of ever finding happiness; with what happened with his old pack and all.

"Sir,"I look up to see Joseph and his mate clinging to each other like they are each others life support.

"Yes," looking at them with amusement.

"We were wondering if we could.. um be excused from the party to ...uh get to know each other more." His mate asks me. I chuckle at her nervousness as she seems to find something on the ground very interesting.

"Yes, of course my mate and I were just leaving." I answer looking down on my confused looking mate.

'My mate and I were just leaving, ' umm.. I don't recall him asking or even mentioning leaving MY 17th birthday.

"I don't want to go." I tell him looking slightly cross at him for even thinking that he could boss me around.' Oh he has another thing coming.'

"I wasn't asking." He says with a smirk.

"Neither was I." I snap back as I cross my arms over my chest while puckering my lips in a sassy manner.

"Well since I'm more dominant over you, you will do as I say and since your my mate I will let this little outburst pass." He says pushing some power into his voice. 'Oh snap he went there.'

"It's almost cute that you think I'm just going to roll over and do as you say." I smirk pushing some of my own alpha power into my voice." You can leave if the party bores you, but I will be staying." I say in a deadly calm voice turning on my heel and sashaying over to the DJ telling him to play 'I Know You Like It' by DJ Snake. (Above).

'If he wants to play the dominance game, well let's freaking play'.
