Just as Joong was about to pull Dunk into another playful attack, a firm voice interrupted them.

"Joong, aren't you going to the office?"

Joong froze mid-movement, turning to see his father, Mark, standing in the doorway with his arms crossed, giving him a questioning look.

Joong pouted like a child caught red-handed. "Come on, Dad. It's Dunk's day off! Every day he's at the studio, and today I just want to spend some quality time with my precious wifey."

Dunk's eyes widened, and before Joong could say another word, Dunk smacked his arm.

"Waaah! So mean!" Joong whined dramatically, rubbing his arm as if Dunk had actually hurt him.

Mark shook his head at his son's shamelessness. "You're unbelievable, Joong."

Just then, another voice joined in.

"Joong, let's go. We have an important meeting with the shareholders today," Pond said, stepping into the room with his usual no-nonsense expression.

Joong, however, lazily ignored him, instead wrapping his arms around Dunk and pulling him closer. "I don't want to goooo~" he grumbled, burying his face in Dunk's shoulder.

Dunk, still recovering from laughing earlier, chuckled at his husband's antics.

Pond let out an exhausted sigh, shaking his head at Joong's idiotic behavior. Without another word, he grabbed Joong's arm and dragged him away, despite Joong's protests.

"Duuuuunk, help me!" Joong called dramatically as he was pulled toward the door.

Dunk burst into laughter, shaking his head as he watched Pond struggle to deal with his childish husband.

Mark sighed, muttering under his breath, "Sometimes I wonder how I raised such a ridiculous son."

Dunk just smiled, thinking to himself that this ridiculous son was the man he had fallen in love with.

.As the car cruised through the streets, a heavy silence filled the space between Joong and Pond. Pond, who had been observing Joong for a while, couldn't help but ask,

"Joong, what's going on with you? You don't look like yourself lately."

Joong let out a deep breath, his gaze fixed outside the window as if searching for the right words. After a moment, he finally spoke, his voice quieter than usual.

"You know, Pond... lately, I've been thinking a lot. About the hate, the anger I've carried for so long. I spent years storing up resentment towards Dunk—for leaving me, for breaking my heart into pieces. I was so sure I wanted revenge. I thought making him feel the same pain I did would bring me peace."

Joong paused, running a hand through his hair, his expression conflicted.

"But as the days go by, I'm starting to understand something... My hatred, my anger—none of it matters when compared to the love I have for him. It's so small in front of my feelings for Dunk. I love him, Pond. I love him so much."
