Phuwin was resting in his room under Maya Ma’s care, while the doctor continued to treat Joong’s arm in the study. Dunk sat beside his brother’s bedside, quietly holding his hand, watching the rise and fall of Phuwin’s chest, still shaken from the abduction.

Mark stood by the large living room window, arms crossed, eyes fixed on the garden... but his mind miles away.

Suddenly, a security guard rushed in, holding an evidence bag.

Guard (tense): “Sir... this was found in the van. Tucked in the glovebox.”

Mark turned slowly. Inside the clear bag was a silver emblem—a lion’s head, cracked in half, with red markings scratched beneath. His hands trembled as he took it.

Mark (in a low voice):“Black Lion…”

Joong and Pond entered just then, hearing the familiar name that had haunted their father for decades.

Pond: “Are you sure?”

As he spoke, Mark’s phone buzzed. An anonymous message.

And beneath the photo:

"You saved him this time. But next, we don’t miss."

Mark’s face paled. Joong snatched the phone, eyes burning.

Joong (furious):“They’re threatening my husband now?”

Mark (darkly):“They want to break us… not just through blood. Through fear.”

Maya Ma stepped in, reading the message over their shoulders, her hand going to her mouth.

Maya Ma: “But… how? Who could’ve…?”
