Just Another Day...

Chapter 6

He brought me to his moms work!
"You brought me to your moms work! I look terrible today!"
He held me hand tighter.
"You look beautiful as always."

We walked over to the front counter.
"Cameron, you brought a girl!"
Everyone at the bakery started to clap! It was hilarious. We both started laughing.
"Mom, this is Amber."
She stretched to hug me because she was behind the counter.
"Hello Mrs. Dallas!"
Cameron smiled.
"Mom, can we get something to eat?"
"It's on the house get whatever you like!"

She seemed like a very nice lady. She was beautiful and looked a little like Cameron.
"May I please have a blueberry muffin?"
"Why Amber you are so polite! Of course you can honey."
"Mom, can I have a cheese croissant?"
"Coming right up son."

Cameron and I sat down at our table.
"I am sorry for not telling you. I didn't want to scare you. I promise I will make it up to you!"
"Don't worry. Your mom is super nice."
She came and gave us our food.
"Enjoys kids!"
"Nice to meet you Mrs. Dallas!"
"Nice to meet you too sweetie pie!"

"Do you like it?"
"It's delicious. Thank you."
"So my dad called me during the night last night. He wanted to talk to me about Pauline. He didn't want me. He wanted Pauline."
He held my hand.
"Amber, I am here for you."
"He kicked me out of my own house."
I started to cry.
"He never wants to see me again after the wedding."
"Amber I want you to know that even though they don't want you I do. Somewhere there is someone who dreams of your smile and finds your presence that life is worthwhile, so when you are lonely remember it's true somebody somewhere is thinking of you. I will always think of you to the day die and so on! I know it's a little bit corny but I bought you this..."
He opened a box...
It was a necklace that said my name on it. He lifted my hair and put it on me.
"I love it! But I love you more."
I kissed him on the lips.
Once we were done he whispered something in my ear...
"I love you. And just think of it. Everyday is just another day... with me and you together."
He kissed me again.

Once we were done we said our goodbyes to his mom but she stopped us.
"You look like my niece a little bit."
Cameron looked at me and then back at his mom.
"We met at the airport and we figured out that she was Pauline's twin sister. I know you may not be fond with it but I am. She makes me happy. I love her. I love her advice, kindness, funniness and so much more."
She stood there looking at us.
"Cameron I am not mad. Whatever makes you happy makes me happy. I love both of you. Bye son see you soon!"
"Goodbye Mrs. Dallas."
I have her a hug.
"Bye mom."
He gave her a hug.

The taxi drove us back home. It was around 3 when we got back to his place. We watched Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. I found it so interesting since I wanted to be a doctor. I wanted to be a Neurosurgeon doctor. They are the specialist doctors who carry out surgeries on central and peripheral nervous system diseases and the brain.
"I never got a chance to ask you what you want to be when you get older?"
He looked at me in a lovey dove way.
" I want to be your husband."
He kissed me on the lips.
"I want to have children with you."
He kissed me a second time but this time on my neck.
"I want to grow old with you!"
He kissed me a third time on my forehead.
"Finally I want to die with you. Our graves next to each other because I don't know what I would do without you."
I laughed.
"You're sweet and I want to do all of those things with you too but I mean job wise!"
"I want to be a Veterinarian."
"Okay then Cameron! I see what you're doing... some competition."
I was just messing with him.
He started to laugh.

I left Cameron's at 5 and went to Kimberly's apartment. She told me she would just be home but when I got there I found her making out with a GIRL!
"Kimberly?¿"
"Amber!¡"
She looked at me like with guilt.
She was naked on top of another naked woman. I wasn't against lesbians. I am actually proud of them for standing in what they believe in. Love is love if that makes sense...
"Wait Amber don't leave!"
"I am sorry Elisabeth but I can't do this right now. Another time for sure."
They kissed. I was in shock that she never told me! Elisabeth headed out the door and gave me a dirty look.

Kimberly got dressed.
"I am sorry you had to find out this way. I just didn't know how to tell you."
"It's okay but promise me no more secrets!"
She agreed.
We had to start getting ready for the wedding! We both needed to take showers the night before because we didn't want to wake up early in the morning. I took one first considering I had shorter hair I would be faster then Kimberly.

Once we were done taking our showers we painted each other's nails but we got interrupted by a phone call. It was my mom. I picked up my phone.
"Amber Skye Leaves I am so glad you answered. Your father has gone nuts! He is on drugs! Whatever he said to you was not him it was his drugs."
As soon as I heard her say that I hung up. I wasn't going to fall for her tricks. She always lied to me. I know she just wanted me to behave myself for the wedding tomorrow.
Just when I thought that wasn't bad enough Kimberly got a text from an unknown person saying watch Elisabeth because if you won't I will. Kimberly was scared.
"How long have you guys being dating for?¿"
I saw the worry look on her face.
"4 months."
I hugged her and make made her feel comfortable.
She started to cry.
"We met at the beach. A guy put me over his back and he told me that he would entertain me. She came and helped me and got me down."

We ended up falling asleep around 9:00. She fell asleep in my arms. I could tell she felt secure and safe. I wasn't that comfortable but as long as she was that's all that matters. During the night I heard a scream and thought I was dreaming but then I heard a knock on the door and opened the door and it was Elisabeth with blood and scratches. She was sobbing!
