I looked at Cameron and back at the police.
"How?"
We both started crying.
The police man looked at him very carefully.
"Her bakery caught on fire. We believe she was baking a batch of blueberry muffins but they were in the oven too long."
Cameron held my hand.
"Who else died?"
"Some bakers and 9 customers. 4 adults and 5 children."
"Thank you Sir."
Cameron shut the door. He walked over to his bed.
"How? Why?"
I hugged him and whispered to him.
"You're mom will always be with you."
I laid my hand on his heart.
He laid his head on my shoulder.

I offered to make him dinner but he refused. He didn't want to be in contact with any sorta food.
He was lying on his bed and trying to fall asleep. While he was sobbing I decided to go out and buy him a memory of his mother.
"I'll be back Cameron."
I shut the door and headed out to the biggest toy store in New York.
I saw someone who worked here. They had to wear funny outfits.
"Excuse me but do you have any teddy bears?"
He guided me to the teddy bear section.
"Thank you."
I was looking at all the bears. They had big ones, small ones! Anything you size you could possibly think of. I looked row by row. I found the first one. It was a little white bear with pink angel wings. It said "Mother is always with you." Then I saw another one right below it. It was a brown bear holding a red heart that said "I love you more than you will ever know."
I bought both bears.
As I was paying for the bears, I ran into Elisabeth.
"Hey Elisabeth."
She was either deaf or she was ignoring me.
"Hey Elisabeth!"
She walked away. I saw that she had bought a frisbee. Once I was done paying I headed out and saw Kimberly and Elisabeth playing frisbee at a park near by. I walked over there.
"It's funny running into you two love birds!"
Kimberly and Elisabeth both ignored me.
"Are you guys mad at me or something?"
Kimberly looked at me and then at Elisabeth.
"Hey Elisabeth, do you hear anything?"
Elisabeth looked at me and then at Kimberly.
"No. It's probably just the wind."
I looked at Kimberly.
"Kimberly? What did I do?"
She looked at me with a bitchy face.
"What did you do? You and I both got rapped and you didn't help me."
"I hate to break it to you Kimberly but so did I. He almost put his prickle in my schnitzel. He grabbed on to both of us pretty tight. So don't go blaming of your shit on me."
"Fine Amber! I am not mad! I am furious. You brought me to your sisters friggin wedding when I was in shock! Just leave you filthy little slut!"
I walked away but turned around.
"Bye Kimberly. It was nice knowing you."
I wasn't mad at her but I wasn't mad at me either. It wasn't my fault. I didn't do anything wrong.
She was the one who lied to Dylan. I guess she's different now!

I headed over to Cameron's place. He was still in the exact same spot.
"Cameron!"
I laid right next to him and his eyes met mine. I kissed him.
"I love you Cameron."
I opened the bag and gave him the brown teddy bear first.
He smiled.
Then I gave him the white one.
He hugged me and started crying. He held me so tight I felt like crying too.
"Goodnight Cameron."
I kissed him on his cheek.
I closed my eyes and heard his voice.
"Goodnight Amber."
He kissed me on my cheek.

The next morning was very tough. It was the day before we left. We wanted to make the best out of it. I woke up before Cameron. I headed to the washroom and washed up and made him breakfast. I made him pancakes with whipped cream and some fruit.
"Morning babe."
He kissed me.
"Good morning Cameron. I made breakfast!"
We both sat down and began eating.
"Great job honey!"
"Thank you."
"I was wondering if you want to coffin shopping? I know it's a big thing to ask but I was wondering if you wanted to come with me when we head back home."
I held his hand.
"I will go with you."

We spent the whole day packing but once it was around 6, I decided to go to Pauline's place.
Cameron came too. I texted her to let her I know that we were coming.

"Hello Cameron! Hello Amber!"
"Hello Margret."
She kissed me.
"Aunt Margret!"
They hugged.
"I heard about your mother."
"I am so sorry, if you need anything I am here."
She hugged him.
"Thank you!"
"When's the viewing?"
"Well once we go back home. I think we are going to have it at Heavens."
"That's lovely. Let me know when Cameron."
Pauline came to greet us. She hugged both of us and wished Cameron her condolences.
We all started crying.
"Where's Henry?!"
"Oh darling he's out with his mother. Why do you need something?"
"Well we wanted to say our goodbyes."
She hugged me.
I walked into Pauline's room and found her sitting on a stool painting s picture of a horse. I also found Cameron sitting on her bed. I sat beside Cameron.
"Looks nice Pauline."
She giggled and looked at me.
"Does anyone in our family paint?"
"Oh my goodness yes. 4 of our cousins and our 3 of our aunts and 1 of our uncles. I guess you have that talent too."
"Wow! What do you do Amber?"
I giggled.
"Well I don't do much. I play instruments. I play flute and trumpet."
Pauline and Cameron looked at me like I was a superwoman.
She started laughing.
"Cameron loves music. He plays piano."
"I didn't know."
"I didn't know about you too Amber."
He held my hand as Pauline continued painting her horse.
"Dinner is ready kids."
We headed out to the kitchen. Cameron sat on my left and Pauline sat on my right.
Margret made Mashed potatoes, lamb and salad!
"Thank you Margret."
It was delicious.

Once dinner was finished it was time to go finish packing because our flight was tomorrow morning. Right when we were leaving Margret hugged me and held my hand.
"Have your parents ever spoke to you since the whole big drama thing?"
"No."
"Let me know if you need some help. Henry, Pauline, Cameron and I are always here. It's too bad Henry couldn't see u. I guess we'll see u at the viewing. Bye sweetie."
I hugged her.
"Bye sis!"
"Keep in touch Pauline. Text and call anytime. See you at the viewing. I love you."
"Love you too."
Cameron held my hand and we headed off to his hotel.
