Chapter Seven - Maxine's POV

Me,Max,and her little sister took of running towards town. we were going to the hospital. to see my sister marie. i decided to carry Max's sister. she is so adorable it makes me wish i had a kid or at least a baby sister but im the youngest and i am always falling for my Marie's boyfriends. i'm just glad this time im not falling for chris. i kinda wish chris's best friend was still in town, he left town after they graduated last year, he was sexy.  i miss him. we were running as fast as we could but all i could think about is that my sister may be dead and chris may be dead or dying. we broke through the trees into chris's backyard. we ran through his house and piled into his car at the last minute Max got out of the car.

"rose go to the hostpital im going to go help chris," Max said slowly and camly.

"ok," rose answerd. Max then took of back to the wood. i pulled out of the drive and began the drive to the hospital to see my sister hoping she was alive and awake. as i was driving tears ran down my face.

"please, please, be ok. marie  please live," i cried. we pulled in to the parking lot  and rushed into the hospital. we ran to the front desk.

"Marie Baylor, please"

"room 207" the reseptionist responds.

"where is that," Rose and i asked in unison.

"down the hall on your left" she said pointing down a corridor,. we took off down the corridor.

207. yes we found it. i reach out and grab the handle and i open it slowlyu not knowing what is on the other side of the door. we stepped in slowly and marie was laying in the hospital bed head wrapped up. her mouth and right eye were the only things she didnt have wrapped up.

"MARIE," i screamed and hugged her gently when she opened her eye, "i love you i hope your ok."

"MAXINE!!!" she screamed back hugging back, "dont yell in my ear again and im fine."

"chris is still out there," i said softly. she began to cry.

"he...he...he...he ..said...he..loved..me," she said between sobs.

"h-h-he did!?!?!?"

"yes"

"OMG"

she smacks me.

"what did i say about yelling in my ear?"

"sorry"

"we need to send sissy and that guy some help," Rose said. i entirely forgot she was with me.

Marie had a look of terror on her face when rose spoke.
