The next couple of days were a literal blur of lights for Tomoki. He transformed from himself to Tomoko so often that he didn't know who was who.
He had needed to lie, regularly and concisely just to excuse the fact no one ever saw the two in the same room. He began frequently leaving classes on complaints of stomach and headaches. All the while Tomoko would meet up with Mikako to organise the bikini competition.
But at least, he thought to himself as he ran home to Ikaros, I know why the girls are all being so secretive and distant from the boys. He passed more than one group of frustrated, angsty youths who were brushed off by all the girls. But it had become apparent that Ikaros no longer had a grace period. The other night the principal had been checking on him as per usual and had seen her there. He had insisted Ikaros attend school, his parents "would have wanted it".
You know, even I'm having your parents go on an impromptu vacation to the Carribean is great. I don't see why he has to check on me every Friday.
He sprinted down the final corner before his street. Houses passed in a blur, weird lady's, catperson, farmer, farmer, farmer, Sohara... His.
