Chapter 5 - Meeting Him

It was the last day of the week. Friday!

"Morning mum" Tori said kissing her on her cheek.

"Good morning sweetheart." replied Trisha.

"What's for breakfast?"

"Bacon and eggs. Yours is on the table.

"Yumm thanks mom."

"You're welcome sweetie."

Tori hurried down her breakfast and finished just over 5 minutes.

"Bye mom". Waving as she walked through the door.

"Bye, enjoy your day."

Tori wasn't planning to let Kamille or anyone ruin her Friday.

When she arrived she completely ignored Kamille walked straight past her and said,"Save it!"

The girls all assembled in the gym.

"Morning ladies. Today you will be shot for a movie for the next 3 weeks."

"The boy behind the camera is Chris. Please welcome him."

"Umm. . . morning girls. Uhh.. I just wanted to say pretend that I'm not here and skate your very best. Good luck to all of you." Said Chris.

"Your first theme is Late Nights. For this theme you will be able to work in pairs, so choose a partner and begin!" Said Shakira.

Raquel and Tori ran to each other squealing like two three-year-olds.

"I'm gonna get our outfits!" Tori squealed.

"And I'll choreograph it!" Raquel replied.

The two friends worked together and finished with an amazing performance.

Tori got two magenta crop tops and two black high waist shorts for them to wear.

Raquel choreographed an amazing performance.

"Alright ladies your time is up. The first pair is Christina and Angelina." Said Shakira.

"Omg. They're skating beautifully. We have to go up against them?" Tori asked nervously.

"Don't be nervous. We are great too." Reassuring Tori.

"Next up, Raquel and Tori." Said Shakira.

Tori nervously skated onto the rink.

The two friends skated across the rink;It was a spectacle.

The instructor watched the girls skate in awe.

When they finished, you could hear Shakira's applause over every one else's.

"We did it!" Squealed Tori, hugging Raquel.

"I knew you could do it." replied Raquel.

"Umm.. Tori who's that camera dude again?"

"Oh, that's Chris. I had like a huge crush on him before I moved here but he never really noticed me."

"I am sorry I didn't know."

"It's not your fault."

"He got cuter though." Tori said under her breath thinking no one heard her.

"Omfg. You like him." Brushing Tori's shoulder.

"I said used to. What would make you think that?" She asked, biting her nails.

"Umm...let me see? EVERYTHING you just said so. It's soo obvious now. Come on admit it." She teased.

"Ughh. Fine, I admit he's cute, so what?"

"Tori's gotta cruushh, Tori's gotta --- mmm.

Tori covered Raquel's mouth to prevent her from speaking so loudly.

Tori almost fainted when she saw Chris walking their way.

Tori turned quickly and applied a fresh layer of strawberry lipstick.

"Umm, hey." Chris said.

"Hey." Replied Raquel.

"Heyy." Tori mistakenly said in a flirty voice.

"You two girls skated really well today and I just wanted to congratulate you both."

"Thank you so much." They both said.

"I used to practice before I moved here." He said.

"Coool." They both said in a dreamy voice.

"Anyways I was wondering if any of you would teach me some moves.

"On the last day of the competition you have to find a male partner to skate with and I want to be prepared just in case a girl asks me."

"So would one of you teach me some moves please?"

"Sure, I guess." Said Tori.

"Thanks are you free tomorrow evening?"

"Yes, so we will meet here at 4:00."

"Cool, thanks again."

Tori's face immediately turned pink.

"Omg. You are so 'head over heels'." She teased.

"Raquell." She whined. "Stop seriously before the wrong person hears you."

"Finee. Anyways see you on Monday."

"Bye."

Tori was so excited, she couldn't wait until the next day.

Trisha never saw her go to sleep so early.

Tori ate dinner, showered and went to sleep.

She wanted nothing more than to spend her Saturday evening with Chris.
