*TheHeroComplex: Here is my second birthday gift to you :) I guess this inspiration came from all the pressure we get from elders to get it right and know what we want out of life. But the truth is, we don't need to get anything right, and we don't need to know what we're doing, we just need to love where we are. So, Happy Birthday, and I hope you remember all you need in life is love and happiness :D
They tell us to be certain
They tell us to plan it all out
They tell us to be perfect
They tell us to get it right
We’re confined by rules and restrictions
On standards and expectations
But all we really want
Is to break free
And live while we can
So I’m telling you now
I’m telling you honestly
Don’t worry about flawlessness
Don’t worry about mistakes
They don’t understand
They’ve forgotten the need to live
I haven’t forgotten
And neither have you
Don’t stress about decisions
Don’t stress about tomorrow
You’ve got plenty of time until you have to decide
Plenty of time to lay back and let go
They say to take control
They say to live as they do
But I’m saying to you now
Whatever direction you go
Whichever path you choose
It doesn’t matter
Just remember that wherever you go
Always follow your heart
