Chapter 32:OZ The Great Pt 1

Several hours later Jason's brown eyes slowly open, as he wakes up shackled to the floor of a metal tank wearing his MK 1 suit. He weirdly says What The Fuck, An unknown man's voice distortedly said Hello Jason The Drugs in your system have you disoriented. You've been running around this city for the past three months making a name for yourself and you have no clue what you're doing. Yes I know who you're I've been watching you for quite a while and I'm not impressed with what I've seen, that tank will fill up with water in the next 30 seconds or you'll die. Tick Tock Jason as the tank starts filling up with water quickly, Jason's mind says There's gotta be a weak point in the structure. As he punches the wall in several places till he hits a hollow spot, The water begins flowing over his head his mind says Come on!! This isn't how my story ends as his hands crackle with green lightning.

He punches the wall repeatedly till it explodes into pieces As Jason rolls along the cold metal floor drenched in water he loudly coughs as he slowly rises to his feet. He stands in a warehouse surrounded by A group of armed soldiers, All their targeting grids lock onto his chest as he dodges their gunfire. He whips out his multi tool quickly clicking it as it transforms into his Escrima sticks he throws one at an opponent hitting them in the head knocking them out cold. While back flipping out of the way of gunfire he throws 3 shurikens at 3 men stabbing each of them in their faces making them scream in pain. He punches Man #2 and 3 in their faces with jabs and nerve strikes then grabs one of their guns and pulls the trigger. Kneecapping Man #4 and #5 he pistol whips Man #2 and 3 knocking them out cold, he dodges a kyoketsu shoge using his super speed.

It wraps around his chest and pulls him towards Man #6 he gets swiftly kicked in his face several times by Man #6 before getting his shirt and chest torn to shreds. Jason screams In pain as he phases through the kyoketsu shoge Man #6 throws 3 Kunai at Jason, Jay deflects them with his Escrima sticks. Jason throws one of his Escrima sticks at The Man but the Man swiftly slices Jason's Mk 1 suit to shreds along with his arms, back and torso. Jason's blood drips onto the blood soaked ground as he falls to the floor Richard's voice says That's not the boy I raised Don't give up keep going son. Jason's eyes flash full of green lighting as he lunges at Man #6 punching him in his face several times as he wraps his chains around the man's neck. Jason says Where am I?, Who hired you to do this? Talk! As his grip on the chain tightens.

A man's voice says I did as an unknown middle aged Caucasian man W/straight Salt and pepper hair,sky blue eyes and olive oil skin wearing A Black trench coat, black cargo pants, A red and white Hawaiian shirt and black combat boots walks up to Jason slowly clapping his hands. Jason lets go of Man #6 along with his chains, He curiously said Who're You? Why'd you kidnap me?. John Doe said I needed to see if you're ready to do more than just stop two bit muggers and rapists and I like what I see you've potential , Sorry for the inconvenience. My name is, he gets sonically slammed up against a wall by Jason, Jason said Who're You? How do you know that I'm the red wolf?. John said look in my jacket pocket and you'll find an Answer, Jason said don't try anything as he reaches in the man's pocket pulling out a wallet. He flips it open revealing a Picture of the Man with his parents at a bar and a Gold Star shaped badge that reads Captain Oz Drakon Time Keeper Institute. And holo pics of Jason's activities throughout the last few weeks.

Jason curiously says you knew my parents? As he lets him go. Oz said Yes They were my best friends, in my line of work good friends are hard to come by They were always there for me when I needed them most. I'm sorry for your loss Jason I really am that's one of the reasons why I came back you've heard of us?. Jason said thank you that doesn't make us friends yeah I've heard of The Time Keeper's I read about them in one of Clark's stories. They protect the timeline they make sure that no one alters history why're you here?. Oz said I came back to help you out with your parents case you've questions I've answers ask away as long as the questions don't involve your own future. Jason curiously said how long have you been here? Why do you want to help me? I don't need help, I work alone. Oz said I've been here since you were 10 years old remember that man you bumped into and stole a metal disc?. Or when Tommy was mutated in Washington square I told you to go home That was me, I have been watching you since your parents died I owed them a debt that I can never repay. I want to help you because your parents were my best friend's they were like family to me, Jason your parents asked me to look out for your family if anything happened to them I'm just keeping my promise. You work alone yet have An AI assistant I guess you're still a terrible liar

Jason said do you know me? In the future I mean, as he stares at Oz with curiosity in his eyes and on his face. Oz said nice try no questions about your own future remember?, Jason said you said that you were doing all this to see if I was ready to do more than stop the filth of this city what'd you mean?. Oz said I need an apprentice to help me solve your parent's murder and I figured you'd be a good fit plus. I can teach you how to control your abilities and be more efficient when it comes to being a vigilante. You've done some good work but you lack discipline and control I can make you better I can show you a better way Jason if you'll let me. Jason said why should I trust you? I don't know you, what you want me to be the Robin to your Batman hoss? I'm not super and I sure as fuck am no hero. As he walks away from Oz, Oz said who's Batman? that's not what Clark thought I knew him, he wouldn't have given up his powers or his life for nothing. I'm not asking you to trust me Jason I'm asking you to trust in your parents don't tell me that you don't want answers or can you really sleep at night without knowing?.

Jay throws Oz his wallet and stops in his tracks, Jason curiously said you don't know who Batman is? What kind of name is Oz?, Oz said The 24th Century kind Jason it's your choice I figured you would want a chance to be more than just Vengeance. Jason said hypothetically let's say you're right Hoss what happens next?, Oz said well hypothetically you would meet me at an undisclosed location and we'd start your training. And we could go over your parents case if you wanted, Jason said alright what the hell I'm in as he sonically runs up to Oz. Oz hands Jason a black playing card and says meet me at the coordinates on that card in 24 hours if you're really serious about the mission. The cops are still looking for you btw there's a cot over there you can crash on, Jason said I've to see my grandma and check on Jim but my suit is torn to shreds how'd you get my suit anyway?.

Oz said I got it from your Base you should really increase your security measures. Jason said I've Security measures in place there's no way you got past them, Oz said Jason your tech is ancient to me here you can wear this as he throws him a metal mini cube he said touch the top to open it. Jason touches its top to make the cube shoot out a sleek skintight white & red bodysuit with a Tire streak down its chest and a ruby red visor, Oz said it's a bio suit it'll do for now, Oz hands Jason a black playing card Jason grabs it and says I gotta run hoss as he vanishes from the room at super speed.
