Chapter 35:Training Arc

At Adams Academy Jason lays in bed dreaming of fighting ricochet. He gets shot in the chest by Ricochet 4 times then thrown off a building, Jason free falls through the air. He fires his grappling hook at the roof rapidly ascending back up to the ledge of the building, he kicks Ricochet in his chest sending him smacking into a brick wall. Then roundhouse kicks Ricochet through the wall sending him rolling along the ground, Jason as the red wolf rushes Ricochet putting him in a chokehold.

Jason said where's your supplier I want to know who supplies you with your weapons, Ricochet said I'm not telling you a damn thing you're out of your league wolf. Jason breaks Ricochet's right leg making him yell in pain, Ricochet says that all you got? As Jason punches Ricochet in the face with his bare hands repeatedly till Ricochet's helmet breaks into pieces. Ricochet aka Justin King: A Tall short bearded Caucasian man W/short raven black hair, Dark brown eyes and a long scar on the right side of his face. Justin said my supplier is a very talented artist who creates weapons for amazing people such as myself, I think you know who he is, Jason wakes up to see himself drenched in sweat.

V's voice via comm link says yes I can boss judging by your brain waves you had a nightmare wanna talk about it?, Jason said I was fighting ricochet again but this time it was different he was more tactical than last time. And I need you to run anyone you see through facial recognition, As multiple video feeds appear around Jason, him and Victoria sift through hundreds of hours of footage to stop at An image of Ricochet standing on the rooftop next to the Ritz. Jason says rooftop across the street he's right there he was waiting for his opportunity to attack, They stare at Ricochet talking into his gauntlet Victoria says I'm isolating the conversation now boss. They hear A familiar voice say she needs to be dealt with she's a liability don't fuck this up, Ricochet said Understood I'll send confirmation once it's done.

Victoria said I've analyzed the voice of the person ricochet's talking to it's Kingston, Jason said he's on the board of directors for the company he knew it would happen and set up my grandmother to die. I want you to find him now let me know when you do, As he stares at the playing card Oz gave him he curiously says hey V are there any coordinates on this card?. Victoria said Yes there are the coordinates are 66 33 45.9 that's the Arctic Circle boss why does he want you to meet him there?, Jason said I don't know but only one way to find out as he stares at the bio suit and smiles.

At A metal tent in the Arctic Circle Jason appears standing in front of the tent wearing the bio suit Oz gave him. He dodges an energy blast from behind only to get hit in the side by another energy blast hardly landing on the ground. He groans in pain as he looks up to see Oz standing over him, Oz holds his hand out to him as he helps him up off the ground. Jason said What're we doing here? Why'd you want me to meet you here in the fucking Arctic Circle, Oz said we're here for your training the cold air will help your discipline, hone your senses and hopefully make you stronger.

He drops his smoking 38 pulsar revolver quickly holstering it on his hip and says I want you to give me all you have no shortcuts no super speed or telekinesis. As he tosses 2 Bamboo sticks at Jay's feet, Jason says training like Rocky?? how am I not freezing my ass off right now? As he stares at Oz with curiosity on his face. Oz says The bio suit was made to keep its wearer safe from the elements and maintain communication with others. It replaced the armor soldiers typically wear in my time yes training like Rocky try to hit me, Jason quickly runs at Oz swinging his stick at him only for the strike to be deflected with ease. Oz says that all you got try to hit me, Jason jabs at Oz hitting his left arm with several strikes.

Oz smacks one of his sticks out of his hand sending it sliding across the ground. He holds his left arm and charges at Jason quickly hitting him in the face with his bamboo stick. Then leg sweeps him onto the ground, Jason springs to his feet and motions for him to come get him, Oz swings at Jason, Jay quickly blocks his strike and knocks his stick out of his hand. Then kicks Oz in the stomach sending him fastly sliding across the ground from the impact. Oz smirks at Jason as he pulls a wooden katana out of his pocket and throws it at Jason. The 2 men run at each other as their blades clash Oz slashes at Jason, Jay blocks most of his strikes but gets hit in the stomach, arm and shoulder by Oz. Jason strikes Oz in the arm with his sword then hits him in the chest with several palm strikes, and several liver shots.

Oz says good work kid I knew you could fight but I didn't think you could hit me. I was holding back though because I didn't want to hurt you, Jason said I want a rematch what's next?, Oz said we'll fight again right now it's time for you to run as fast as possible I wanna see how fast you can go. I'll be monitoring your progress and your vitals the bio suit will keep you warm from the cold. Jason said Let's do this! You might want to take a step back this is gonna be a lot of work, as he stretches out his body on the ground taking a runners stretch. His eyes glow bright green as he zooms across the Icy ground he visualizes his parents deaths again hearing his parents scream in pain, seeing the yellow shadow with red eyes staring at him.

He leaps into the air shooting up into the sky like a shooting star, Jason yells Woohoo!!!! As he rapidly descends the wind bites at his lungs and skin. Oz curiously said How fast did he go?, Leia said he ran approximately 325 miles per hour and he's about to crash, as Jason crashes through a pair of mountains hardly landing on the ground. Oz instantly appears standing over the crater Jason made when he fell, Jason loudly groans in pain as he slowly rises to his feet and says how'd I do??, Oz said your speed is incredible you ran at 325 miles per hour and you almost flew Clark couldn't fly oh my gosh your arms broken. At The Sanctum aka Oz's headquarters Jason sits in a metal chair getting his left arm scanned by a drone, Leia says Your fracture is healed Mr.Riley it healed itself in 30 seconds.

Jason curiously said how's that possible?, Oz said Clark had cellular regeneration it's likely that got transferred from him to you when he gave you his powers. How're you feeling? What'd you see out there while you were running?, Jason lyingly says nothing as he gets out of the chair heading towards the door, Oz said if you're going to lie to me then this partnership is over whatever it was I can help you Jason. Jason said I relived their deaths I saw my parents dying and me powerless to save them from that demon, There are you happy now hoss?. Oz said I'm sorry you have to relive your pain describe it to me the demon, Jason said Bright yellow with bright red eyes why do you ask?.

Oz said I've encountered it before centuries ago I could never beat him alone. Jason says him? Who's he? What's he?, Oz said he's a harbinger of death I never found out who he was behind the cowl. He fought Clark several times I only know him by one name, Jason says Zakar Conners The Reverse Titan he was Clark's greatest enemy why'd he want to kill my parents?.
