My eyes watched drearily as Oli's hands moved back and forth, from our wardrobe to his suitcase.

I was sitting on our king-size bed with my back against the headboard and my knees hugged close to my chest. Oli was packing for his weeklong business trip and I'll admit that I was moping a little.

"Don't look so upset. Please." He looked up at me sadly and I tried my hardest to smile back at him.

He chuckled slightly. "A for effort, love. But I'm afraid I've known you too long to not notice when your unhappy."

My very sad and very fake smile faded away and I set my chin on my knees.

"I'll just miss you, is all. You know that." I mumbled. There was a bit of a silence for a while, as neither of us were speaking to the other.

Suddenly I felt the weight on the mattress shift. Oli was crawling up towards me from the bottom of the bed on his hands and knees. He stopped right in front of me, sat down, and crossed his legs.

I felt his hands grip mine and pull them towards himself. Before, they were latched onto my elbows, keeping my arms wrapped tightly around my legs. Now that he had pulled my hands and arms away, my legs fell to the side and, unfortunately, my headrest was gone.

My eyes, which had been trained on a tear in our sheets, made their way up to meet his. The corners of his lips curved slightly into a smile.

"Come on, Kells. Let's go out tonight." He said. Oli's grip tightened around my hands and he tried to pull me away from my comfortable position on the bed, but I wasn't moving so easily.

"No, I don't want to move right now." It came out sounding more like a whine than I intended, but I didn't really care.

"You may not want to, but you will if I have anything to say about it." He continued to pull and drag at my arms until he pulled me half way off the bed.

"What the hell?" I giggled. I knew he wouldn't give in any time soon, so I decided it would be best for the both of us to go along with it instead of fight him on this. My feet landed on the floor with a thump as I turned my body so I was sitting right side up.

"Come on, come on! Up. I'm taking you on a date." He grabbed my hands gently and rubbed his thumbs up and down the back of my hands.

He took a slow step backwards and before I had a chance to stand up, Oli yanked my arms forward quickly, pulling me up, so I almost fell forward if not for the fact that he caught me. Oli's firm grip made its way to my waist and steadied me until I regained my balance.

"Rude..." I muttered under my breath, focusing my glare on our feet. He placed two fingers under my chin and forced my gaze up to meet his. He pecked me on the lips, quickly pulling away to reveal a sly and excited grin.

"Yes, I know I'm horrible. Get dressed, love." He motioned to my flannel pyjama pants and wrinkly tee shirt. I groaned obnoxiously but then smiled lightheartedly at him to show that I really appreciated the effort he was making.

"Yes, sir." I said sarcastically. I pulled my shirt off over my head while walking towards our wardrobe, which was growing more and more empty.

I glanced back over my shoulder and noticed Oli was watching me out of the corner of his eyes. I couldn't help but smirk. I turned my head back around and shimmied out of my pants, possibly wiggling my hips a little more than needed. Oli didn't have to know that. Slipping on a shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, I turned back around and saw that Oli was now, very clearly, checking me out. Even I'd admit that I look hot in a button down t-shirt.

"You clean up nicely, Quinn." He smiled at me, his eyes scanning up and down my body.

I walked over to him, placed two fingers under his chin and pushed his gaze up to meet mine, mocking his previous actions.
