CHAPTER ONE
Kathy''s POV
First day of school. Yay! I'm really enjoying this. Oh, who am I fooling? It’s worse than I thought. Curse my father's boss for making my family transfer here. I hope he chokes on his own saliva. That really wouldn't kill him, would it? Nevermind that. Oh, how I missed my friends and their crazy antics back at home since I don't have friends here. I hate my life.
It's already seven a.m. when we arrived at my school. I wore my blue converse, not so skinny jeans 'cause mom forgot to dry my usual jeans, a simple white t-shirt, and my all-time favourite thick glasses covering my blue eyes. I tied my hair in a ponytail to make myself comfortable.
"What if I get lost in this school? I can barely read a map." I said to my mother but she just laughed at me.
"Honey, I'm sure you can do it. You're IQ is probably higher than Einstein's." My mom teased.
"Mom. Einstein did not take an IQ test, Okay?" I know I'm smart but I shouldn't underestimate Einstein. He'll probably crawl on my bed tonight if I say I'm better than him.
"Whatever, sweetie. Call me if you need anything. You know I still need to fix our house and..." I stopped mom so she won't continue any further.
"Yeah, yeah. I know. We just moved and I understand."
"Good. Bye, sweetheart," I kissed my mom 'goodbye' and she left.
I, Kathy Robinson can do this. I will not let myself taint the name Robinson. I know how hard it is for our great, great, greater than great ancestors to maintain that name just to pass it to us.
I strolled down the hallway getting back to reality. Passing by on some students, some gossiping and telling each other what they did the whole summer, I never meant to eavesdrop on them but, hey, it's not my fault they were too loud. I had to wait for 15 minutes since it's not yet homeroom time so what I did is just I walked slowly facing the floor. I don't know where I'm heading to.
"Hey, long time no see? How did it gone for you and Chris? Hahaha!" some hot red-headed girl said to probably her friend. About some relationship, I guess.
"Bro," A guy’s voice approached another guy, his friend. That reminds me. I have no friends here. I looked at him. His brown hair is a mess, in a good way. His eyes shining with excitement. He reached his friend and started talking, "This summer's the best! I really enjoyed fucking with-" Okay. I really should stop eavesdropping. I sighed and started walking, eyes locked up on the floor until... I heard a 'thump'. I fell on my back after bumping into a tall figure in front of me.
"Ow!" Why does this floor have to be so freaking hard? Can't they put mattresses on top of it?
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" the guy said.
I narrowed my eyebrows but then he looked at me. His face showed how mad he was nevertheless, oh, my! He's so hot! His face is the epitome of perfection. No sign of acne or spots whatsoever. His dirty blond hair is giving him the look, women of all ages will be willing to die for. His green eyes were so gorgeous you can't even look away from them even for just a millisecond. And his body. His awestrucking muscles, trying to break free from his shirt, telling me to hold them. I could just drool all over the place. Bah! Like that would even happen. I just gave him a mocking look.
"Apologize." he barked. What is he, my mom when I was 7 years-old?
"I don't know you and why should I even say 'sorry' when you're acting like that." I blurted out.
"You don't know me?" he raised his eyebrow. How should I know him? Is he dumb? I'm new here for heaven’s sake.
"I don't need to know your name."
