Chapter Six

CHAPTER SIX

 Kathy's POV

"Hey Kathy. Are these guys bothering you?" Louis said pointing at Jett and Gab.

"Uhh..." I was out of words for a moment. I don't know how to react to these guys. Jett pushed Louis and grab him by his shirt, looking pissed. Jett's eyes were burning red. I looked at Louis and he had the same look as Jett.  The look of hatred. Something tells me both of them have had this very strong dislike towards each other not long before I moved to this school. Louis pushed Jett and he almost lost his balance, taking a few step backwards.

Gab wasn't even trying to placate the growing fight. He stayed there at the corner like it was normal for him seeing them like this. I contemplated for a while but I suddenly felt like I needed to cut the tension before it heats up. Ahh! They started pushing each other’s chest again!

"Stop!" I shouted or screamed, I'm not sure. They looked at me for a millisecond and continued again. Jesus Christ, save their souls. I walked in between them and spread my arms to make them stop. "STOP!" I screeched, making the other students look at us. Jett harshly shove me aside.

"Don't you ever touch her!" Louis growled, sending me chills. I've never seen him this mad.

"Why?" Jett hissed, venom was laced in his tone with a bit of amusement.

"Because, she's my girlfriend." Louis smirked at him. Louis, I'm going to kill you! What the hell are you saying?!

I was about to reach for him, when Jett punched him on his right eye. It's a shame for such beautiful eyes. Louis backed away a few steps and punch Jett on his lips, making a small cut. Bless those soft pilgrim's lips of his. These people never learn to appreciate the beautiful things life has to offer.

I groaned in frustration. "Would you please fucking stop!" I screamed at the top of my lungs causing everyone in the cafeteria to look at us. Now they’re all gathering to watch the guys brawl.

But, everyone seemed to quit down and got back to their seats.

"What's all this commotion about?" Mr. Brown, our principal, got inside silencing us. I was frozen at state. His eyes wandered and caught us on the spot. Louis and Jett were still fighting and didn't even notice him and that's when he got angry. "Sanders, Thompson, and Robinson. My office, now!" he raised his voice in authority and this caused both the guys to cringe. Why me?! I was just trying to stop them! I have no choice but to follow his orders. Damn it.

We all walk silently towards the Principal's office, following Mr. Brown's back. Jett was behind Mr. Brown and Louis and I are behind them.

"Louis!" I whispered, trying to get his attention.

"Yeah?" he turns his head slightly facing me.

"Why did you tell Jett that I was your girlfriend?! And why are you two fighting back there?!" My voice raised higher.

"I want to piss him. Truth is, I don't really like him and I don't want him around you." he said, wrinkling his nose in animosity after hearing Jett's name. "You're my bestfriend now, and I'm not kidding when I said that." I saw seriousness flashed in his eyes. Wow! He really is serious.

"I know, but why? I mean, what happened to the two of you?" I asked, trying to get an answer.

Louis was about to answer me when Mr. Brown interrupted us. "Stop talking, both of you. You're still in trouble." he said in a command-like voice.

"I'll explain later." Louis whispered on my ear and smiled at me. I heard Jett groan in front of us. Louis laughed quietly after seeing Jett looking peeved.
