Rafayel smirked, watching Jiwon’s flustered expression with growing amusement. The way the younger kept stubbornly avoiding his gaze only fueled his desire to tease him further.

“You’re acting like you’ve never seen a man before,” Rafayel drawled, stretching lazily in the warm water.

Jiwon scoffed, still refusing to look at him directly. “I just don’t want to see you.”

“Liar,” Rafayel chuckled. “You keep stealing glances when you think I’m not looking.”

Jiwon’s jaw tightened, his fingers gripping his own arms as he sat curled up in the water. “In your dreams.”

Rafayel tilted his head, smirking. “Maybe. But I bet I’m in yours too.”

That was the last straw.

Jiwon snapped his head toward him, his eyes burning with irritation. If looks could kill, Rafayel would have been buried six feet under.

Without thinking, Jiwon lifted his hands and sent a powerful splash of water straight into Rafayel’s smug face.

Rafayel froze, blinking as water dripped down his face and soaked his blonde hair. His smirk disappeared for a brief moment, and Jiwon couldn’t help but smirk in satisfaction at the sight.

“Oops,” Jiwon said, voice dripping with fake innocence. “My hand slipped.”

Rafayel wiped his face slowly, a dangerous glint in his eyes. Then, without warning, he retaliated, cupping his hands and sending an even bigger splash straight at Jiwon.

Jiwon let out a sharp gasp as water hit him full force. “You—!” He sputtered, wiping his face with a glare.

Rafayel grinned, leaning in slightly. “You started it.”

Jiwon narrowed his eyes. “Oh, it’s war now.”

He gathered as much water as he could and splashed again, but Rafayel was faster this time, dodging and sending another wave right back. The quiet, intimate atmosphere quickly dissolved into playful chaos as water splashed everywhere, their laughter and taunts filling the air.

For a moment, Jiwon forgot where he was. He forgot the captivity, the anger, the confusion. In this ridiculous water fight, it felt almost… normal.

But the moment Rafayel caught his wrist mid-splash and pulled him closer, their breaths mingling once again, Jiwon was reminded—this was far from normal.

And Rafayel wasn’t going to let him go.

Rafayel smirked, water dripping from his face as he tightened his grip on Jiwon’s wrist. “Giving up already?”

Jiwon scoffed, yanking his arm back, but Rafayel didn’t let go. Instead, he used the momentum to pull Jiwon even closer, their bodies nearly touching in the water. Jiwon’s breath hitched, his heart pounding against his ribs.

“I don’t give up,” Jiwon shot back, glaring up at Rafayel. “Unlike you, I don’t need cheap tricks to win.”

Rafayel chuckled, the sound deep and rich. “Oh? And what exactly are you winning here?”

Jiwon opened his mouth to respond but hesitated. Rafayel took full advantage of the moment, swiftly wrapping an arm around Jiwon’s waist and pulling him onto his lap. Jiwon yelped, his hands flying to Rafayel’s shoulders for balance, but that only made Rafayel’s smirk grow wider.

“Let go,” Jiwon huffed, squirming against the firm grip. But Rafayel only tightened his hold, his fingers pressing against Jiwon’s lower back, keeping him securely in place.
