Mako Reactor 5 Assembly Plant:
Y/N's POV:
After collecting a new fancy looking Summoning Materia, Tifa called us over from the corner of the room. I put the Summoning Materia in my shuriken and skip over to my comrades like an anime girl. Seeing this, Barret looks over to me with a dumbfounded look on his face.
Barret: Hell's got you so gung-ho?
Y/N: (smiles) Oh, nothing. Just a new Summoning Materia.
Barret facepalms.
Barret: (sighs) You and your fuckin Materias...
Barret turns to Tifa, who gestures to the monitor. Of the Air Buster.
Barret: Report.
Tifa: It looks like a few of its components are still in transit...
Barret: (laughs) Hahaha. We'll see about that.
Y/N: With its loadout, we could ramper with it.
Cloud: And give ourselves an edge. There should be a console somewhere.
Barret looks around and runs over to another monitor.
Barret: This the console you're talkin about?
We run over to him. I take a closer look at it.
Y/N: I'll need a keycard to get it to work.
Barret: Well, let's find it, then.
We spread out to look for another keycard. The one I used to get the Summoning Materia ate it. So... I'll need another one. Anyway, we look around for one for a while. None of the other corpses are carrying one, which is sad. Eventually, however...
Cloud: Got one.
We run over back to the console and Cloud hands the keycard over to me.
Y/N: Thanks, Cloud.
Cloud: Don't mention it.
Barret: Alright, Y/N. Work your magic!
I put the keycard in my pocket and then work on the system. I notice something.
Y/N: (curious) "M units"?
Tifa: I'm guessing that's some sort of component?
Cloud: (nods) That's right. An enhancement powered by liquified materia.
Barret: Sounds bad...
I keep working and typing, and then I notice something.
Y/N: I can probably divert this unit for disposal. Aaaand by the looks of things, we can even use them for ourselves.
Barret: Great. Work on it.
I take the keycard out of my pocket and insert it into the console. I hit the operate button.
Console: M unit: Flagged for disposal.
The system takes the M unit out of the Air Buster and carries it to another room.
Barret: Heh! Just imagining their faces when they find out... Where's it goin?!
Cloud: Y/N sent it to the Disposal Room. So, we'll need to go there to actually get it.
