The Wild One

Chapter 1

(Because my donkey Jill is AMAZING)

l awoke to the sound of Jill the donkey she always makes her morning noise, But when she makes that noise it also means to get up and go feed the horses, so I looked at my phone on my reminders and realized Gabby is coming over today! And I already knew today wasn't going to be boring.

"Good morning!" My mom yelled as she walked in.

"Morning, Hey are you going to work? I asked.

"Ya, Oh ya and don't forget when I get home from work i'll be picking Gabby up." My mom reminded me.

"Ok." I replied.

"Ok, Love you I should be going now." Mom said as she was leaving.

"Love you!" I yelled as I started getting ready, I put on my green and blue plaid shirt and my short jean shorts with little rips at the top since I would be outside today, And it's supposed to be like 70 degrees today, but with nice winds to keep the temperature down, luckily. But now I have to go feed Jill and the others so that will help tell if the heat is really warm, as I was walking down stairs I really wanted to prank my brother Matt so I decided on what to do or how I was going to, so then I looked around and found a giant plastic black spider on a string so then I hung it over his bed and then so the plan was that when he woke up his head would hit and then he would scream. Well that is what should happen but anyways after I got it all set up I went down stairs to get oatmeal so I could have something in my stomach but I looked and all the oatmeal we had was maple and brown sugar which is really good so it didn't really bother me much, but after I was done eating I cleaned my bowl and went to the barn, And as I was walking I heard something? And my plan worked!

"What the heck!" Matt Yelled.

I started bursting out laughing.

"Alena! Really now is not the time for this!" Matt yelled with anger.

That's when I continued walking to the barn and what do you know Jill was walking around and rolling just like her cute self, Then I went by the feed and grabbed a pail for Jill then I repeated that for the horses and then after that I took out Jill out of her pen and brushed her until she was clean then as she moved I moved my foot also not thinking her foot could move right there she stepped on my foot and oh it hurt like hell, so then I moved her foot and she was tied up so then I put the brush down and then I let Jill go into the field since she was practicality clean enough then I went into the spare room and looked at my foot and well it was swelled up but i'm not going to make a big deal about it this stuff happens all the time, then right when I was putting my boot back on my brother walked in.

"Why did you put the spider above my bed!?" He asked.

I laughed as I said " I don't know I felt like it?"

"What ever just your going to get payback." Matt said as he walked away.

Then I went on my phone and texted Gabby and we texted for awhile and then I finally said I have to go because I really did my mom was coming home like around four and I wanted everything to be done, chore wise, so then I let the rest of the horses out of their stall's and out to the field, and then that's when Matt came back and quickly grabbed Patches (His Horse) before I let her go and he said.

"Wait! I am going to brush her and bathe her so she is clean."

I just said ok and handed his horse and continued, Then I looked at Hercules (Sister's Horse) and started talking to him I guess you could say that it was weird, Thats when I looked at the time and it was three forty eight, and then I thought when could time possibly go slower and then I talked to my brother I guess he was a little mad still.

"Go away, Patches and I are bonding." Matt said.

Weirdo I thought and then I walked away and just stood at the pen and looked to the field and waited as time ticked I just got bored so I started training this horse name Sky, This horse is a boy and he is all white and beautiful and his problem was jumping because he jumped fences a lot and to much so then I took him on a run/jump, and then my mom came through the drive way so then I quickly put him away and put my regular clothes on and ran to my mom and then Gabby came out and we started walking to the barn and then we talked about how time was going so slow when my brother came out and told Gabby.

"Watch out when you sleep she put a GIANT black spider above my bed!" Matt said.

We both just burst out laughing.

"Good one, But don't prank me tonight at ALL." She said.

"I won't." I said "But wanna go for a ride?"

"Sure!" Gabby said.

We went to ask my moms she said it would be fine as long as were careful so as gabby brushed the horses I saddled them up and then we went, We went into the woods on a trail then we stopped because I heard something deeper in so then we listened and it was a horse? We went in closer and I saw this beautiful black horse and I told Gabby that I wanted that horse. All she said was that it was a bad idea and we should leave it alone but that's not what my gut was telling me, and then after a awhile of looking and talking we decided to stop and let the horses drink and we talked.

"So how is your barrel racing coming and your day?" Gabby asked.

I said "Great and also I started trick riding and I have this new horse named Sky and he has a jumping problem."

"Is it bad?" Gabby asked.

"No it's just that he jumps fences and stuff a lot." I replied.

After a long time of just talking it was getting dark so went home and then The Wild One (Horse) was gone so then we just continued home and when we got home everyone was home and we unsaddle the horses and again Gabby brushed them, then we went inside and got cleaned up and started eating supper my mom made mashed potatoes and gravy with chicken so then we talked and I told my mom and dad about The Wild One and they seemed interested. But after supper me and Gabby hung out then we got ready and she slept on the couch and I slept on my bed then we were ready for the next morning.
