Best lunch ever

Knock knock.

"Come in." I barely see Evelyn walks in gracefully while holding a bunch of papers and some folders. She puts them on my table. Not again. I really want to bang my head against it.

"What are these?" I sigh.

"Papers." She answers giving me a are-you-that-stupid look. I glare at her. She holds up her hands in surrender.

"Here, we have contract with Moonlight industry that will expire this year. You need to revise it and decide whether we should prolong or it or not." I nod. "You also have to sign the contract with our newest client. Then, these are some application for our technician employee. Finish it in two days." I groan in frustration.

"I never know being a ceo would be this ..." i cannot find the right word.

"tiring, stressing" Evelyn finishes my sentence. Nice words she has there. It truly reflects my condition. I slump in my seat closing my eyes and rub my forehead.

"Come on. I'll take you to lunch." I don't wait for her response. I simply grab my car key and heading to the door.

"You come or what." I raise my eyebrows. She nods her head vigorously.

"I fancy Italian today." I roll my eyes.

"Good afternoon ladies. Table for two?" A waiter greets us in his thick accent. We nod. Soon he shows our seat. The restaurant is nice. Not too fancy. The best thing is they have delicious food with a good price.

"What do you want for drink?"

"White wine for me."

"I second that."

"Two white wines. Are you ready to order?"

Evelyn skimming through the menu and say Chicken Tetrazinni.

"I'll have Chicken Crusted Parmesan, please."

"Alright ladies. Your order will be served in fifteen minutes." With that he walks away.

"You're glowing lately. And if i'm not mistaken i heard you singing in your office. Amazing voice you have." I blush at her remarks. Not so many people know i sing.

"Tell me lil sis. How's Anna and you doing. Every single details." She wiggles her eyebrows. She also knows well that work is not a choice of topic to discuss at lunch.

"We're great. I think she might be the one. She is very caring and sweet. Childish too. Did i tell you we make it official last Sunday?" She shakes her head no. Ah. She helped me arrange things but i forgot to tell her the big news. Oh well.

"Oops sorry. So i took her to watch opera. It's the only thing she talked for weeks." She snorts.

"That's not your thing, girl." "I know. I fell asleep in the middle of the performance. Let's just say she's mad." She mouths a stupid while rolling her eyes at me.

"To make it better i took her to the park. I really am grateful for your help. She loved it. The place, scenery, and moment were perfect. So i confessed my feelings for her and asked her to be my girlfriend. And..." i give a dramatic pause.

"And what? Just tell me her answer." I chuckle at her eagerness.

"She rejected me at first. Not really. She thought about it first. Thankfully she didn't take much time because just when i took her home she gave me a Yes." Evelyn smiles warmly. She motions me to continue.

Where is our food by the way. Never mind. This is the juicy part.

"So we hit it right away. We were practically running to her bedroom, leaving trails of our clothes in the process. As we reached her bed we're both naked." I can feel Evelyn fidgeting in her seat. I continue though.
