I was a walking mess, relieved to find that the house was empty. Quickly getting into the shower and detoxing from what took event earlier in the day. Throwing on jeans and an oversized hoodie, leaving my face free of makeup and my hair in a slick back bun. Grabbing my purse and keys before leaving out. The drive seemed long from all the thoughts flooding my mind. His blood on my hands, the life rolling out of his eyes, the fall of his heartbeat and the coldness of his body. Rubbing the stray tears falling from my eyes before pulling to the warehouse. Everyone seemed shocked to see me walk through, "Where's Carlito?"

"Back there with Beau and Rock," I nodded before making my way there. Knocking before twisting the door open, Carlito grinned once he knew it was me before glaring at me. "Hey baby." I smiled and pecked his cheek before striking his outgrown hair.

"Oh, Trinity, glad to see you made it back safely." Beau grabbed my forearms to kiss both of my cheeks.
"Beau!" Carlito cut his eyes at him and shook his head.
"All love brudda, all love." He winked at me and I shook my head before plopping beside Carlito.
"Where were you?" He mumbled over to me.
"I'll explain later, okay?" He nodded and glanced me over with a bitten lip. Already knew what was on his mind.
"Later," I patted his leg as Beau and Rock went back and forth before looking back at us.
"So we got shit going down in Miami and y'all the only two I trust with something as big as this, so I want that handled. Y'all will be leaving two days from now."
"Sounds good to me." Carlito nodded and I gave a thumbs up.

Once we were finished with that Carlito and I went to eat, "So where were you?"
"I went back home, like I said. I had to handle some things."
"Like what?" He took a huge bite of his burger.
"Um, I haven't really told you about this but one of my previous relationships a while back. Had some untied things and I needed to go and tie those ends."
"What ends?"
"It was a very dark relationship, he was abusive and that's the reason why I have those nightmares and I panic. I just haven't taken care of that point in my life and needed to let it go, so that's what I did." I picked at my food.
"Exactly how did you do that?" He mumbled lowly.
"With a little blood on my hands, it's nothing you need to worry. I handled it," I sipped my soda and he glared at me.
"I hope so and don't just go off doing stuff like that without telling me."
"You would've talked me out of it anyways."
"Exactly my point, I want you to stay as pure as possible Trin."
"I think it's far too late for that," I chuckled and shook my head. He smirked slowly and licked his lips.
"Nah I'm serious, I want you to be pure as possible for when you wear white."
"I don't even wear white like that, what you talking about?" I dusted the salt from my fingers as he slid the ring box across the table. "What's this?" I furrowed my eyebrows as he kneeled before me. "You drop something?" I glanced down at the ground.

"Yeah, my pride if you don't get that I'm tryna propose to you." I felt completely stupid.
"Oh my gosh! Baby, you deadass?" I grabbed his face completely shocked.
"Yes, I know we ain't perfect or nothing. And this may seem fast but I love you and I've been thinking about this for quite sometime. Will you marry me?"
"Yes!" A tear slid down my cheek as he put the ring on my finger and I grabbed his face to kiss him repeatedly. "I can't believe you." He stood and lifted me along with him. Still kissing on his face. The rest of the restaurant applauded and cheered.
"Why you crying so much?" He smiled as he set my on my feet.
"That's the most beautiful thing ever, thank you so much baby. I seriously love you," I pinched his cheek before squeezing him again. He chuckled and pecked my nose.
