"Take on the skeleton, I'll take on Mr. Porcelain here." Hank yelled at Twilight before rushing forwards towards the trio. Cuphead had a split second to react before jumping to the side, as Hank surged through the spot where he had stood just a moment ago. Sans had dodged too while Bendy simply submerged into the ground and and proceeded to stay there like a crocodile. Cuphead clicked his tongue, irritation flickering, then dove aside just as Hank carved the air with a swing meant to split skull from spine.
Twilight gulped nervously. She didn't have a choice in this fight at all and now suddenly, she looked at Sans standing there, his lax behavior again showing through his bony body. She had no choice but to-
Sans moved. Quicker than anyone could've thought. He seems to have teleported right above Twilight and without wasting a moment, he bought out five of those laser spewing machines and started, well, spewing lasers at Twilight. She however, encompassed herself in the same shield that she used to contain Edgar and Hank and managed to not get harmed by the lasers.
"Pretty neat eh?" Sans asked with a wink. "These beauties are called Gaster Blasters according to my biodata and boy are they great!" He said and started another barrage of Gaster lasers.
Twilight's shield barely held on as the attack relentlessly pushed her shield to its limit. It was now showing visible cracks and the lasers were able to trickle through it.
On the other side of the battlefield however, Cuphead was trying his best to maneuver through Hank's relentless slashing and was slowly starting to adapt to his movements. He was able to notice two things. One, Hank was irrational but calculative. Two, He used the same attack multiple times until the enemy dodged to a point farther away from him at which he will do a surging attack.
"Slash, slash, slash and....." Cuphead slowly muttered under his breath and finally, when Hank proceeded to surge forward, his eyes gleamed maniacally as he jumped directly over Hank.
"Nice opening, mind if I take a shot?" He asked as he pointed his fingers at Hank.
Hank didn't know what other powers Cuphead possessed apart from ethereal geyser but he definitely didn't expect a giant ghostly and muscular apparition emerging from his body and pummeling his head directly onto the ground.
Twilight looked over from inside her protective bubble and was slightly worried but she already had her hands full at the moment. Her bubble was pretty bashed up from Sans' relentless attacking and she had a few seconds at max before the bubble would completely give way.
She had to find an opening somehow, Sans currently had five Gaster blasters aimed at her and each one shot at random spots on her bubble at random intervals of time. Creating a new bubble would make her use up a lot of magic and end up making her exhausted, if she decided to teleport from inside the bubble, she would once again result in exhausting her power from using both spells at once. There was only one option for her and she had to act quick.
But before she could do anything however, Sans withdrew his Gaster Blasters. Twilight was very much taken aback, but one look at Hank snapped her back to reality as Cuphead had already reclaimed his apparition and was aiming his fingers right above Hank's chest.
Her initial plan had been to destroy her bubble and teleport directly in front of Hank and protect him with another layer of the bubble. Exhausting yes, but if anyone had a shot of winning this duel, it was her and Hank and no matter how much she can try and sugarcoat the situation, Edgar was just deadweight and would rather drag them down rather than do any useful contribution.
But as she was about to teleport to Hank, she felt a sense of dread and cold coiling around her like a snake. It was a bad premonition, as much as she wanted to teleport quickly and help Hank, the sensation pulled her back and didn't allow her to move an inch. Though she couldn't explain why, she knew if she tried to teleport anywhere near Hank, she would face some sort of harm.
