"Why didn't we ever thought of this?" I asked Kane, kissing his neck playfully.

"'Cause we gave a fuck," he chuckled, running his hand up and down my thigh.

We were laying down in my bed. Yes, believe it or not we know about the fact this bed is too small for two people (and mostly Kane), and about the protocol. This is not only punishment-worth but can also get us caught for sneaking out at night. So far they haven't suspected anything, but if they find out, we are fucked.

"It's almost dawn," I sighed sadly.

At dawn, before anyone dared to open one eye, the chambers were checked to see if everyone slept in their rooms. Kane had to leave before dawn.

"We have time." No we don't, we have a few minutes, but time nonetheless. "I'll see you whenever I want, I don't care." He turned us around so I laid under his body. I looked up straight into his blue eyes, I was uncertain about everything except that I loved him- I sounded dumb. We knew we were pushing our luck far too much.

"I love you," I said, my voice breaking.

Kane showered my face with kisses, and my neck, and just all over the place, butterfly kisses that sent tingles to my heart. "Enough," I screeched, giggling from the ticklish feeling. He smacked a big kiss on my lips before turning me to my side and cuddling some more. It was funny how being 5'8 feet made me the tiny little spoon when we cuddled.

"Promise me something," I whispered, hugging my arms around his, which were hooked around my chest.

"What?"

"You won't take decisions for me again," I said in a whisper. "You won't make a deal to let me go when I want to stay. We will work together for what is best for us, not one sided."

He had a few seconds of silence. "If you promise me you won't ever doubt I love you."

I giggled beside the seriousness of his petition. "I know that."

"No you don't." I frowned at his sad tone. "The first day when I begun my lies you believed it. Don't ever do that. I love you, no matter what anyone, even myself, says."

"Deal," I said, turning around and throwing a leg over his waist. My eyes focused on the little fairy by his V line. Before knowing this place I'd think "what a tough nigga doin' with a fairy tattoo" on his hip. Now I realize I just never knew tough.

"You can just ask, ya' know?" Kane said with a small wary smile.

"No," I shook my head. "You don't have to dig in into your past for me." Something tells me that fairy represents more pain than a thousand gang-related tattoos.

He sighed and cupped my face to kiss me. We had spent the night talking, just sharing our thoughts, cuddling quite too much anyone might think. Part of the reason why was because we both knew, too much kissing would lead to dangerous terrain. Trapped in my room, if we both lost our trail of thought we'd end up doing the wrong thing.

"I have to go."

Biting my bottom lip I nodded, undoing my legs from his waist. I hugged the pillow tightly and watched him slip on his white shirt. He squatted down and leaned in to kiss me goodbye. "I love you," he whispered, kissed me one last time and stood up to leave.

"I love you too," I whispered, watching him go.

"Can I ask you something?" Alice said as we walked down the hall to our next class.
